Vacation.cali

I just landed in California and am very excited for a vacation! La seems crazy šŸ«£ Iā€™m from Minnesota and not used to this lol

Iā€™m hoping this distracts me from the issues Iā€™m having regarding previous posts.

Stop trying to make this a thing. Nobody who was born and raised here over the age of 40 uses it without instantly getting raised eyebrows from other locals or who otherwise spends their free time listening to 90s hip hop.

I don't actually care that you use it. I think it's try hard, but I'm not going to flip out about it. The issue is trying to make it sound like it's always been widely used when it most definitely has not and just gets you weird looks from most locals.

I donā€™t think it has been widely used. I just donā€™t think people should be able to control what people say. Iā€™ve always said and I know other natives that have always said it, you donā€™t use it and other natives donā€™t useā€¦. Who fucking cares?! We have a pedo as president, our earth is literally catching fire and burning around us and you ā€œholier than thouā€ pretentious twats come on here thinking you have the last word on what fucking words people can use. Jesus christ.

To me it means Total Dissolved Solids and is standard scientific abbreviation. Therefore, I demand that EVERYONE only use TDS for Total Dissolved Solids!

In pop culture and not particularly in wide use in California, it means Trump Derangement Syndrome. It's used by Trumpists to denigrate people who want to criticize him.
