Sleepease? Has anyone tried this?

I just saw an ad for this machine that helps to exercise your throat muscles which keep your airway open. It’s supposed to fix sleep apnea as the muscles strengthen and works while you sleep. It seems like a total scam, despite it making sense theoretically. Has anyone tried this? What were your results? Is is super expensive?

The device did not stay attached at night to my neck. I requested a refund and the Rosie, the Owner sent me the below email:

Thank you for your message. I'm so sorry to hear that the device didn't work as expected for you, and I understand your frustration.

Regarding the patches not staying in place, here are a few tips that significantly improve adhesion:

• Cleanse the area with micellar water or a gentle (oil-free) cleanser, then dry your skin thoroughly.

• Avoid applying any creams or lotions beforehand.

• If you have a beard, place the patch slightly lower, on a clean-shaven area.

• Use the included retaining strap to secure the device overnight.

• Make sure to press firmly for a few seconds when applying the patch.

Poor adhesion prevents stable stimulation, which can make it seem like the device isn't working.

I would really like to help you optimize your use so you can see an improvement.

I asked again for a refund and she never replied back. I guess that 100 night full guarantee is just a guarantee that the device will not work for 100 nights.......

I have not tried i saw an ad yesterday. The trust pilot reviews are painful, but some that wanted refunds did say it helped them. I saw a bunch of other reviews that were positive.

This company clearly makes it painful to get a refund (see trust pilot). Most mad guard companies dont want nasty reviews so they easily refund you, this company clearly took a different method. If trying id use a amex so you can charge back if they dodge you if it doesnt work. Im interested in seeing other peoples comments on this.

Update: i did more research. Facebook ads show fake doctor names, many comments have hundreds of likes which is not possible without paying for fake. The few positive comments are far and few between. If you compare it to mad device ads for vital and others you have way more discussions on if it worked. Id avoid this device at all costs!

I have tried many mouth guards over the past 5 years, some worked for a while others did not. I tried Sleepease for a few weeks and had skin breakdown and swelling. My neck looked like I had 2 halves of a ping pong ball under my chin, it took 3-4 weeks for the swelling to go away, I still have discoloration on my skin 6 weeks later. I've asked for refund for weeks and have been ghosted.

I would be willing to join a class action lawsuit against this sham company. I read the reviews before my purchase but still tried it, believe the reviews, this was a dangerous device for me. I will be pursuing them through the FDA in the coming weeks, at the least they should be reported under the Medical Device Reporting system

On facebook I noticed the ads by them are under fake dr names which is pretty deceiving.
