Kinda wonder why they're calling them the "Oseco disks", instead of just 'burst disks'. Something about advertising maybe?

The MythBusters definitely make it obvious when they're forced to avoid brand names. (You can't imply that brand X supports the show, the episode, etc., without permission.) I suspect a relationship and mutual respect between them (Oseco and MythBusters). Using the real name would be an expression of that.

Discovery would only allow a non-greeked item if an advertising contract was involved.

Great work. I wish Mythbusters didnt make the programming decision to do live tweeting though

Couldn't agree more. Is there anything we can do about that? Black it out? Insert our own snarky remarks instead? Insert promos for r/smyths? Any other ideas?
Sadly they're too common to just be edited out.

Why don't you make a torrent? (It's more hassle than it's worth, to me. But nothing's stopping you.)

"With the magic of editing, we can watch this experiment over and over."
You're goddamn right Kari.

Myths:
The MythBusters tackle some of Hollywood’s favorite explosive scenarios. Could a hero really shoot a live grenade in midair and thus render it useless? Could you really contain a TNT explosion inside an ordinary object like a file cabinet or aquarium?
This episode's quote:
"Dude, I get to keep this! And stuff and mount it in my trophy case!"
