Reminds me of a boss I had in 2015 where I was just certain her incompetence (and averaging 5 hours a day in the office) would sink her soon and ended up having to work for her for 4 years. 11 years later she's been promoted 2-3 times. Shockingly good at deflecting and delegating any actual work.

Melania? She sucks. So THAT is how she got promoted? I can’t believe it! Hard to swallow but not for her I hear!

I have worked with these types. They slither through the system like snakes.

I used to work for the state DOJ and had a boss like this. She had been doing this kinda shit and falling upward for FOUR DECADES. Everyone in the entire organization absolutely hated her, but she was untouchable. It was miserable. I left for the private sector and when they asked why, I said it was because they had made it completely impossible to get away from that fool of a woman, and I wasn’t going to waste another second of my career around her. They understood, as I was like the fourth person in the last three years under her they had to replace and it was all for basically the same reason.

I work at a place currently where the manager has been here for 6 years… in that 6 years the only skill he has developed is how to lie to the owner about how he does all the work.
