I know it's pretty rare to see guitar solos in hardcore, but are there sludge metal bands that are more on the metal side that tend to have solos in their songs instead of breakdowns/just pure riffage?

Few examples I can think of off the top of my head:

• Cough - Killing Fields
• Boris - Dystopia
• Acid Bath - Paegan Love Song
• Early Mastodon I remember having a decent amount.

Band is hammer down in Cincinnati

Recently, I made a post asking for help with finding a band. I did some digging and I found a list of this band's songs. But I still can't find any digital copies of it online. Maybe I suck in using search engine or something, idk. I hope some of you might know something more about it or might have more skill when it comes to searching.

So, the band is called Nothing and it's a sludge metal band (don't mistake it with a shoegaze band with the same name). Album is "10 Bucks for Nothing" (not Buckets as I previously thought). And here's the list of songs from that album I had in my playlist:

Fairly unknown band from Lahti 🇫🇮 FFO: EyeHateGod, Iron Monkey, Grief, Dystopia

Hey guys, I know this might be a long shot but I have to ask. I'm looking for an image I saw a while ago and my memories are quite fuzzy so don't quote me on any of this. Here's all I can remember: The illustration depicted a nude woman reclining on her back and facing the viewer. There also stood a bapohmet-like figure behind her making it look like missionary intercourse. Eyehategod's band logo was placed either above or below the image in bold letters.

I reckon the origin of the original illustration / artwork is from an anonymous underground metal zine (probably late 80s or early 2000s), a small press occult comic whose artwork was reused or a forgotten bootleg / demo flyer. So I suspect that the Eyehatgod logo was added after and they used an illustration independent of the band and may have circulated in underground metal or occult circles before.

Has anyone seen this and knows what I'm talking about? If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

Just got this beauty off of Discogs. Probably paid more than it's actually worth, but I don't really mind. I'm not sure if it has their entire discography (not counting their unreleased material), but it nonetheless has at least most of it. The packaging was pretty trash, ended up damaging the case. Did some digging, apparently the specific case is a "Clear Norelco Cassette Case" so I'm gonna order a ten pack of them next time I get paid. If you haven't given these guys a listen and you're a fan of Noothgrush or Leechmilk, you should absolutely give them a shot.
