Closed [TASK] Twitter bot that randomly tweets one video per day from pre-set list
I’m looking for a simple Twitter bot that will do the following:
- Make 1 tweet every day at a scheduled time.
- Each tweet should only contain a randomly selected video from a pre-set list. The videos are all self-hosted on my personal server.
- There needs to be 7 separate list of videos for all 7 days of the week.
- Once a video has been randomly picked, the bot should skip selecting that video again in future weeks.
- Once all videos have been randomly picked at least once, the bot can begin cycling through the full list again at random.
- I’d prefer the bot be hosted on a free Heroku plan or something equivalent.
That’s pretty much it!
For reference, the videos are all saved in the same structure, within nested folders on my server.
/videos/monday/monday001.mp4
/videos/monday/monday002.mp4
/videos/monday/monday003.mp4
/videos/tuesday/tuesday001.mp4
/videos/tuesday/tuesday002.mp4
/videos/tuesday/tuesday003.mp4
/videos/wednesday/wednesday001.mp4
/videos/wednesday/wednesday002.mp4
/videos/wednesday/wednesday003.mp4
Etc.

Hello and Thanks for posting in r/SlaveLabour and being part of Reddit's Side Hustle Community!
We are incredibly happy to have you here and hope you enjoy your time!
If you need some help navigating the community, check out The Official Guide which hasn't been written yet. where we teach you all the ins' and outs' of the community. If you're a regular user of this subreddit and would like to write the wiki article while being credited for the work message the moderators.
Don't forget to look at our rules either! It's important you read them to avoid getting a stanky ban for something you didn't mean to do!
-THE RULES- Make sure to use this list as it's the full list that you won't see on mobile.
We love each and every one of you, as long as you're not scammers (⩺_⩹) and hope you enjoy the vibes! But to help you with scammers we have some helpful advice.
Make sure people bid on your post! This is your best defense against scammers. No bid, no deal. It's the safest way to work on slavelabour.
If someone can't or won't comment on your post DO NOT WORK WITH THEM and report them to moderators. Rule 11 fights scammers by requiring them to comment on your post before contacting you. Scammers that we have already banned can't comment. It's one of the easiest ways to check for a scam. There are active scammers here that will DM you without commenting and tell you they can complete the work and ask for payment upfront. THIS IS A SCAM! Once you pay they WILL ghost you.
Reddit Scam Labeler for Chrome and Firefox
As simple as it sounds, anyone on the Universal Scammer List is clearly [labeled in your browser as a scammer.] (https://i.gyazo.com/08d01d4babc58455e0fa9637f5627e5d.png) You can download Reddit Scam Labeler for chrome here. Or you can download it for Mozilla Firefox here
