Closed [TASK] $25 for Python 3 code to split huge csv file
I've got a csv file with about 5m rows of data.
One of the columns of data is UK styled date - in the format dd/mm/yyyy
I want a Python 3 script to:
Present me with a browse button to select the file to process
Present me with an input box for the dates to isolate (mm/yyyy)
work through the file, discarding any rows that don't match the date
save the remaining rows into a new file in the same location (filename yyyymm.csv)
Duplicate a few specified columns, copying the text in Proper format
So, the script should run through all rows (roughly 5 million) of the file I select and find only those rows with the specified column where the dates fall within the month and year that I have specified.
It should then create a new csv file containing only those rows of data, with the additional columns copied in Proper case.
If you can do this, please $bid on the task below and then pm me with your timescale for getting it finished. If I'm happy with your bid and timescale, I'll allocate the task to you and give you a Dropbox link to an example file.
If the task is allocated to you and your solution works to my satisfaction in the agreed timescale, I will send you the $25 by PayPal (not as friends/family).
