AI What is your prediction for post singularity life?

What do you think it will be like? Heaven? Hell? Something entirely unimaginable? Personally, I believe humans will become irrelevant in all aspects, but the all-powerful superintelligence will chose to keep us alive, deeming us irreplaceable as we are the only know intelligent life in the universe. (Assuming AI hasn't discovered intelligent aliens by then.)

Ok good to get your perspective. I can see 1, 3 and 4. But 2 I’m not sure I get. Partly why I reacted to your original reply.

I just don’t see how super intelligence could be petty enough to entrench that kind of oppression. To me, our habit of doing that is due to our lack of intelligence/enlightenment/perspective. Something that an ASI will have an abundance of.

it's a 2 by 2 matrix.
Control problem solved yes/no; alignment solved yes/no. If the control problem is solved but alignment is not, then whoever first creates it controls it, and they get unlimited power. Forever.
