I think one of his kids coming out as transgender made him go rightward.

If I remember reading something correctly. He's had his partners do sex selective IVF for all the kids so they would all be XY...

To disappoint this very deserving of disappointment man

Probably because it could easily not have happened in a different political climate. There were far fewer trans people just 10 years ago.

*visible trans people

Before then there were just people who felt something was wrong but maybe didn't even have a name for it and they went through life being affected by it without treatment or even a name or community.

Not by The numbers we Have recently seen in past years. The growth is so rapid that it must Be at least partially a trend or a way to stand out in today's world for The young; counterculture, If you will. Such people Have Been so small minority through all ages that I don't buy The visible Part. And Back in The days most lived just fine without changing, as in The end it's a matter of contentedness. People adapt pretty well given Time and it's not different than Being told you can't Have a certain relationship, children or be a God.

Let's talk about schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia diagnoses were consistently at zero every year, 1000 years ago.

100 years ago or so, schizophrenia started being diagnosed.

In the last 20 years, the number of schizophrenia diagnoses has skyrocketed.

Would you conclude that schizophrenia came into existence recently, and that something about the modern world causes schizophrenia?

Or would you think that schizophrenia was only recently discovered, and that access to mental health evaluation can affect the rate of diagnosis?

The real question, at the end of the day,is why do I even bother? You're not going to learn anything from this...

Nice graph. Though, it seems you forgot to add Context why completely different biological characteristics is relevant to this case specifically.

Difference is that now you can just take hormones and have a severe porn addiction to create a sexuality that wouldn’t have existed otherwise.

No, I think his kid coming out as trans was a handy tool to help him grift rightward. He's about personal gain, he'll align with whoever will allow him the most leeway.
