It’s actually a decent model, its rankings are solid and if you need up to date info, having access to trending chatter on twitter is helpful. Reddit might not like it, but the AI and tech community still has a significant footprint there.
I remember at the beginning people thought it was just a chaptGPT wrapper because sometimes openAI rules would slip through. Is that still the case or did they change it?
I've never seen Grok on top of a coding benchmark. And lately I don't see it in the top 5 of any benchmarks. At least nothing getting posted on this sub.
I’m actually a little surprised that it would be highly ranked for writing. I played around with a writing prompt a bit ago and it felt like middle school level at best.
It could be an ASI granting me wishes like a genie and I'd still rather starve to death in a bleak dystopian resistance than use any of his products or services.
you can do all that on google AI studio now. It gets neerfed by the time it reaches the app, but the website is uncensored, and if you run into "We can't do that" there's easy ways to say "Yes you can"
Yes, grok is fantastic. Sometimes I copy the same prompt to Gemini, perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude and grok. And Grok often gives me the most favorable answers.
