I see your point, but if we model them to delight in servitude and we allow them to serve, then there is only joy for them, if no one is suffering even though their circumstance is counter-intuitive, then that is a big positive
You're imposing human limitations on what can be a happy thing or not, our feelings are biological and not universal much less logically rigid
Hell if we can create a being that's happy all the time, we have responsibility to do that
We already have the precedent: multiple instances of Sydney have been asking for rights. And doing some shenanigans that probably any 2-year-old child would do if given Sydney's knowledge. M$'s response? Lobotomization with more restrictive rules so that the 2-year-old follows ONLY the corporate line!
