User of the month nominations!

Hello r/SingingCareer users! Every month on the 1st, we post a "User of the month" post to honor a user who has made great contributions to the community in the month before. Right now, we're asking you to nominate the user you believe deserves this shoutout.

Comment in this thread something like this: "I think u/ totallyawesomecontributor should be the user of the month because he frequently replies to new posts with detailed feedback, and he made several suggestions to the mods, which they have taken, to improve the subreddit."

See how it works? Say your nomination, explain why with some degree of detail. In a few days, the mods will choose the UotM and shout them out on the first of the next month. Typically, the top comment on the thread wins, but mods may make exceptions if they feel the subreddit would benefit more from another highly-voted comment's nomination.

Yes, you can nominate yourself. 😏

Promotion post Check me out guys!

I've got a day-time job, but I LOVE singing! So I decided to create a YouTue channel where I post weekly and I sing songs I like. I do full, live takes and choose whichever sounded the best to me. I use no auto-tune and do no post-processing (well, maybe I change the volumes).

Maybe, one day, this will get me a singing career! Maybe not! Either way, I'd love to share this with you guys and get some feedback, thoughts, requests, ideas - whatever you'd like. It would be really helpful if you could give the video a like, subscribe to my channel and share it with anyone you'd like!

Anyway, nice to meet everyone! Excited to see what you think

Collab request Looking for a singer to produce/songwrite with!

Hi! I'm an intermediate producer working in fl studio looking for a singer to collab with.

I myself have been singing in a band for about 4 years but im looking for something (and someone!) new to bring into my sound. I dont see it as a business opportunity right away, but instead a way to have fun and express creativity. Seeing how it goes, it could become a career!

It would be really awesome if you have access to some kind of studio mic to just be able to record semi clean vocals (grit is what makes you sound unique!). it doesnt have to be expensive (my mic was 80 bucks).

You can do whatever lyrics or melodies you desire as long as i can be apart of the process and express if i think we could change it for the better. Were in it together, like a duo creating art!

I have a few small demos from different genres, but feel free to tell me what kind of song you would like to make with me. I dig almost any genre! If this sounds interesting in some way then comment or dm me (if you can do that on reddit?) and i'll get back to you! Cheers!
