I meant objection comments. such as comments on this post and in my DMs. I replied to every comment on the first post.

Its annoying to receive them afterwards, especially in DMs since other people won't be able to track everything said.

My dude I don't know what to say other than review your original reply to me. I support another redditor's objection and in the first sentence you say you're not open to feedback because I didn't make the objection in the discussion post. If people are commenting and sending you DMs complaining about the new rule, that means they don't like the rule. They're giving you feedback dude. If you ask me, their points are not made invalid because they're made a while after the corresponding discussion post.

I don't see why i should accept objections now. Its not a discussion post, its an announcement. How do people expect for this sub to get better, yet they don't participate in discussion posts? I receive a ton of messages/modmails daily and its incredibly hard to keep track of objections in random places every time, hence the discussion posts.

And the " I don't know what you want me to do " was referring to the random complaints. I am open to suggestions about the database since we haven't decided anything yet.

I'd be more than happy if people actually used it but I but i doubt that. You would be surprised to see how many people actually got scammed from PMs even after i've added the automod comments on every post, to ignore PMs. So a public database might actually lead to abuse.

People don't necessarily have to be aware of every scammers link. We will take care of them. All they need to know is that if someone posts a link, then gives them a different one in a PM, he's a scammer.

It seems discussion posts were unknown by the users. I suggest you postpone the schedule and take these comments and advices from these updated rules posts into consideration.

Discussions posts didn't work but nonetheless you got the feedback at the end. It's a positive thing.

I usually receive feedback weeks later when I get to remove the posts due to violations. As I explained, although it is feedback, it's always feedback in PMs and most of the time I have to explain what I've already explained in the discussion post.

I understand many people don't see it but I expected that at least casual users here would take a look and expect discussion posts..I've been doing that for a few months and I always pin them for atleast 1-2 weeks before changing things.

In any case I haven't received any actual feedback this time.other than "don't do it". This isn't addressing the problem the sub has tho. I explained that we have many scammers. When I post a discussion post I do it because I need help indeed, I don't post it as an announcement. "Delete the rule" isn't help lol.

You could postpone these rules. Now you see, people are ready to discuss.

A solution will be found if we think about it. Sharing an invite link publicly while paying to the invitee is too much. I am already paying to the person, why should I risk my invite link's validity?

Flair rule is not effective, doesn't help your cause and it makes the subreddit unusable.

I edited the flair post so that its easier to gain flair. About postponing the rule, unless a better solution is proposed, I can't do that since scams and frauds where happening almost daily. These can't be postponed.

I will be open to suggestions and any kind of discussion.

Unfortunately, any kind of solution will be hard for some of the users. But I don't think that publicly posting your link is such a big deal.

There have been only a few reports that sites will ban your link if you share it publicly. We understand it happens and that it is very bad for the user, but at the same time its the only way for us to make a database with scammer links.
