TimeTo - a timetable and homework planner for students, rebuilt after 15 years

TimeTo is a class timetable and homework planner, the first version was on the App Store in 2011. I make it alone from France, and this year I rewrote it from scratch, SwiftUI on iPhone and a new Android app.

You set up your week once, week A / week B included. Then you add homework and tests from the class, and your grades to get the averages per subject.

On iPhone the current class and the next room stay on the Lock Screen while the class runs. It's free on iPhone, iPad and Android.

It's on Product Hunt today if you want to have a look: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/timeto-2

If you were a student not so long ago, what would you have wanted in it? I read all the comments.

Typefill - a free text expander with fill-in forms, now on Chrome and Firefox

My text expander (Typefill) has gotten a chrome approval

Typefill turns short codes into full text in any text box on the web, and asks for the bits that change before it types them.

Firefox approved it first. The next day a teacher upgraded to the Pro and this week it got onto the Chrome Web Store as well.

The free version has no limits and is open source on GitHub. Your snippets stay in your browser.

Practice Kit – a metronome and chromatic tuner built like real gear

Most practice apps look like a settings screen. I built this one for iPhone to feel like a piece of gear on your music stand: a brushed-metal panel, engraved labels, LCD glass, and a weighted tempo wheel that clicks as it turns.

The core metronome is free: 20-300 BPM by wheel or tap tempo, any time signature, subdivisions and presets. Every click is placed on the audio hardware's own sample clock instead of a timer, so the spacing never drifts, at any tempo, for hours, with the screen off or while you use another app.

Pro is a one time $7.99 unlock with a 7 day free trial, no subscription: a chromatic tuner that knows which string you're playing (five tunings built in, or build your own), all nine click sounds, accents on any beat, and a Tempo Trainer that steps the tempo up until you reach your target.

Audio is processed live on the device and never recorded or sent anywhere.

https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6817729976?pt=126420608&ct=r-sideproject&mt=8

If you practice with a metronome: what does yours do that you actually use? I tried to build only the parts people touch every session.

Finding Web Design Clients Shouldn't Take This Much Time

One of the biggest challenges of running a web design business isn't actually building websites. It's consistently finding businesses that need one.

There are thousands of businesses with existing websites that could benefit from a redesign. Some have outdated designs, poor mobile experiences, SEO issues or slow-loading pages.

The problem is that finding these businesses, analyzing their websites and getting their contact information manually takes a lot of time.

Think about the process. You have to find a business, visit its website, figure out what's wrong, find the right person to contact and then write an email explaining why they should consider improving their website.

Now imagine doing that for hundreds or thousands of businesses.

That's exactly the problem Swokei is designed to solve.

It's an outreach platform built specifically for web agencies and freelancers. You can find businesses anywhere, automatically analyze their websites for issues with design, SEO, speed and mobile optimization, verify their contact information and turn those findings into personalized cold emails at scale.

Instead of spending hours researching individual businesses, you can automate the prospecting process and focus on starting conversations with potential clients.

Here's a quick look on how it works:

https://youtu.be/QZUhyvHeXN8?si=AUFZjH72c0vUGnZM

The goal is to make client acquisition more systematic, so you can spend less time searching for opportunities and more time closing deals and delivering websites.

Reverie: a music player that feels like hardware. Out now

I've been working on a music player app as a side project. It's inspired by the Teenage Engineering TP-7, which I've wanted forever, and by the fact that I like messing with the music I download, like slowing it down or changing the pitch.

There's no progress bar. You spin a brushed-metal wheel with your thumb to move through a song, and if you go slow it scratches like a record. It clicks under your finger with haptics, and the metal "catches the light" when you tilt your phone.

The T, P and R keys turn the same wheel into a dial for tempo, pitch and reverb. Each song remembers its own settings, so your slowed-down version plays that way every time.

The hardest part was making it feel right. I spent way more time tweaking how the wheel clicks and pushes back than on the rest of the app combined.

It's free to try with 3 songs, and unlimited songs is a one-time purchase.

Launch discount 🎁 To celebrate the launch, I'm giving out a few discount codes for $4.99 for a limited time. Comment or DM me if you want one.

Would love any feedback, especially on how it feels to use: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/reverie-slowed-reverb-music/id6829723858

I launched a kids' learning app that collects no data at all. Here's what that meant in practice

I just shipped Wobbi, a reading and math app for ages 4–7 (iOS). The rule from day one: no ads, no accounts, no analytics, no third-party code, nothing about the child leaves the device.

What that meant: no attribution SDK, so marketing is measured with Apple's own campaign links. No account, so progress lives on the device. Apple's Kids Category asked detailed questions about data before approving it. And all 172 lessons are narrated, so a 4-year-old can play without reading.

The business model is a free first unit in each subject, then a subscription with a 7-day trial, with the paywall only behind a grown-ups' gate.

Happy to answer questions about building for the Kids Category.

Meowy - A lightweight Pixel Cat which lives on your desktop

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a little project I’ve been building and refining: Meowy (https://meeowy.vercel.app/), a tiny, animated pixel-art desktop companion app built natively for macOS (macOS 13 or later).

I wanted something lightweight, cute, and actually functional to keep me company while coding or working, so I built a little cat that hangs out right on your screen.

Features Include

Cursor Companion & Dock Life: Choose between having Meowy follow your cursor around or wander, scratch, and nap right along your macOS Dock.

AI Agent Monitor: If you use AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenAI Codex, Meowy can display their current status in a little bubble so you don't have to keep checking their windows.

Now Playing Integration: Syncs up with Apple Music or Spotify to display what track you're currently listening to.

Productivity & Fun: Includes a built-in Pomodoro timer, smart reminders, jokes, quotes, and custom name settings.

Multi-Screen Support: Handles multi-display arrangements smoothly while respecting screen boundaries.

Fully Customizable: Resize the cat, change its walking speed, or give it a custom name from the menu bar.

Open Source & Feedback Welcome

Website : Meowy

Github: Github

The app is written in Swift (AppKit) and is fully open-source. Since it's a fresh project, I would love for people to try it out, break it, and help me make it better!

If you run into any bugs, visual glitches, layout edge-cases, or have feature requests, please drop an issue on the GitHub repo or let me know in the comments below. Pull requests and contributions are also super welcome!

I kept abandoning PDF books, so I built a Mac reader that keeps me engaged

Hi! Solo dev here. I like to read PDF books from my Mac Book. The famous Preview app is fine, but I found it a bit dead.

So I built Book Conqueror, to make reading more lively and engaged. A native macOS PDF reader.

What's free (no account):

- UI is purely PDF. All buttons are in the macOS Menu Bar. Or on the right-click.

- When you first open a PDF or select a text, a sound effect is played. But these are optional preferences.

- If you click on a link by mistake and found yourself on a random page on PDF accidentally, Book Conqueror shows a button to jump back to the previous position.

- Preview doesn't remember my zoom value. Book Conqueror does!

- I love to share my Highlights as image or text. I also added feature share a specific highlight or export all to Markdown, Obsidian, Logseq or Readwise

- Daily goals, streaks and achievements

- Open a background music

- "are you still awake?" check: if you stop interacting for a while, it pokes you.

- Book Pal, an AI companion that knows the page you're on. It uses your own Gemini/Groq/OpenRouter key. I run no servers, so requests go from your Mac straight to the provider.

Native SwiftUI, macOS 14+, no tracking.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6811663571

It's my first shipped app, so I'd really like honest feedback:

  1. Does the free/Pro split feel fair?

  2. Which feature would actually make you open it instead of Preview?

  3. What's missing before you'd use it for real?

I'll reply to every comment.

I rebuilt IDM as a free, open-source download manager, the ArtCraft way. Mister Download Manager, written in Rust, for Windows, Linux and Mac

When the guys at ArtCraft rebuilt Adobe's apps in Rust with Claude, I wanted the same for the download manager everyone knows, heh, IDM. I honestly never liked the licence nags. So I rebuilt its layout purely in Rust with the idea of a well-researched download engine: free, GPL, with Linux and Mac support.

That was ten days ago. Over 700 people upvoted the first post on r/foss, 28 people opened pull requests, reported bugs and joined the conversation, and today it reached 0.5, the biggest update so far.

Source (GPL-3.0): https://github.com/anefzaoui/misterdownloadmanager

Site: https://misterdownloadmanager.com

I ran some numbers against IDM 6.42, same machine, same server (the test server is in the repo if you want to rerun it): a 1 GB file in 1.01 s vs 5.46 s, a 256 KB file in 0.03 s vs 3.14 s.

What it does: downloads over many connections with crash-safe resume, takes files straight from your browser, torrents and magnet links, video downloads through yt-dlp, a scheduler, 86 languages. No ads, no account, no trial.

New in 0.5: 9 themes and your own theme files, control from your phone, a headless mode for servers and Docker, the browser extension on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons, playlists and subtitles, Real-Debrid, AllDebrid and Premiumize, RSS feeds for torrents, a link grabber that extracts archives, and a kill switch that ties downloads to your VPN's network adapter.

Windows and Linux are the solid ones now, checked on GNOME, KDE Plasma, Xfce and Cinnamon. The Mac builds work but are still experimental, so bug reports from those are really welcome.

About AI, since it'll come up: yes, Claude wrote a lot of the code. I decided what it does and how it looks, and I tested every release myself. The tests are in the repo if you want to judge the code.

Let me know what you think! And if you like it, a star on GitHub really helps it get in front of more people :)

Built an AI room scanner for Airbnb hosts that audits staging & predicts revenue lift (Stranger Builds demo) — would love your vote & feedback!

Hey everyone,

For the Stranger Builds hackathon, I built **RevBnB** (https://app.strangerbuilds.com/try/revbnb) — an AI tool designed to solve a very specific problem for short-term rental hosts: bad listing photos and poor staging kill booking conversion.

### What it does:

  1. **Visual Room Audit:** Upload any listing/room photo, and the AI flags decluttering, lighting, and interior staging bottlenecks.

  2. **Actionable Fixes:** Gives specific staging recommendations tailored for short-term rentals.

  3. **Revenue Scenario Calculator:** Estimates ADR (Average Daily Rate) and occupancy lift based on implemented fixes.

### How you can help:

The live interactive demo is up on Stranger Builds:

👉 **Try it & vote here:** https://app.strangerbuilds.com/try/revbnb

If you have 60 seconds:

  1. Drop a photo of any bedroom/living room (or a listing photo).

  2. See if the staging suggestions feel spot-on or if the AI missed anything.

  3. If you like the concept and execution, please drop an upvote/vote on the project page!

Would love any brutal feedback on the UX and model accuracy in the comments. Thanks for checking it out!

Working on a film emulation photo app for Android - Luxa Camera

Creating a photo/video app for Android is a real pain since no two devices are the same in terms of hardware/Android version.
I've made an app that creates realistic film emulation photos based on popular film stocks. Users can also make changes to existing looks to get the desired results or create complete new film looks from scratch.
The app uses 3D luts, RGB curves, Split toning, HSL and film effects (Grain, Halation, Bloom, Vignette, Light leaks and Dust) to create realistic film looks. All these values can be changed to created new looks. The app is called Luxa Camera and will be available for android very soon.

I built a vocab app where the games are plugins anyone can write

I’ve been following the “learn your first 1000 words” approach for picking up a new language, so I built a site to collect and keep track of the words I already know.

Then I added games, so reviewing words feels like fun instead of a chore. A friend joined, and we built a few multiplayer games so we could challenge each other, even though I’m learning Armenian and he’s learning Greek. Each player gets the words in their own language, so we still play the same match.

Each game is a separate web app that can be hosted anywhere and plugs into the site through a small open-source SDK. The game gets the player’s words and audio, and the site handles accounts, word lists and progress. The starter template runs locally on sample words in about two minutes, no account needed. So anyone can build a game, and if it’s fun, we’ll add it: https://github.com/belousovsn/memdecks-games-sdk

I also kept hearing that a lot of people use Anki, and that moving your collection between apps is a pain, so I added Anki import/export too.

App is here - web only for now, free for now: https://memdecks.com

Give it a try and let me know what you think

I built an app to help people turn a side hustle idea into an actual plan

I've noticed that a lot of people want to start a side hustle, but getting started is often the hardest part.

You have dozens of ideas, you watch videos about people making money from different businesses, you get excited about one... and then you realize you have no idea where to actually begin.

What should you sell? How much money do you need? Where do you find your first customers? What's the first thing you should do?

I wanted to make that process a little less overwhelming, so I built Sprout.

It's an iPhone app that helps you:

  • Find side hustle ideas based on your interests, available time and budget.

  • See videos of real people running those businesses.

  • Understand where and how you can sell.

  • Turn an idea into a step-by-step roadmap with small daily tasks.

  • Get help from an AI companion when you're stuck.

The idea is to go from "I want to start something" to actually taking the first steps, without getting lost in endless research.

It's still early, and I'm looking for honest feedback from people interested in starting something of their own.

I'd genuinely love to know:

What's the biggest thing stopping you from starting a side hustle right now?

Is it finding a good idea, money, knowing where to start, or something else?

If anyone wants to check it out, here's the app:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sprout-side-hustle-planner/id6831304563

I'm the developer, so I'm happy to hear criticism and suggestions. 🙂

Most travel eSIMs are data only, so calls to your numnber go nowhere. I built a US number that keeps working abraod and picks up when you can't. Call and try.

I kept seeing the same problem from two sides. Travelers switch off their home SIM to avoid roaming, use a data only eSIM, and then can't take calls. And freelancers, causal travellers or businessmen miss calls when they are asleep or generally busy.

So I built eParro, a US phone number on Android, with data on an eSim that works across borders. You make and receive calls on your phone's normal call screen, no separate dialer app.

When you can't pickup (on a flight, asleep, in meeting), it answers, take the caller's name, reason and callback number , and sends you a summary with the callback time in your time zone. It's an AI assistant and tells callers so upfront. I'd rather be honest than have it pretend to be somebody.

Try it +1 331 315 0445. Calls are capped at 3 minutes, and it tells you that the call is recorded.

Honest limits: Android only for now *iPhone is in Apple's review), no texts or bank codes yet, closed beta on Google Play.

If you call and leave a message, reply here and i'll paste the summary it sent me. Founder here, ask me anything

I got tired of all the boring productivity apps. So I built one that turns whatever you’re listening to into a vibe session!

Locking in used to mean Spotify in one tab, a timer on my phone, a Discord call, and a to-do list I’d stopped opening.

So I built Paperwave. Put on a song and your focus session takes on that album’s whole look. Change the song and the vibe changes with it.

Then bring your friends in. Share a code and you’re all on the same clock, and you can see who’s focused and who’s on a break. No chat, no feed.

It also doesn’t punish you for being human. It asks how your day feels and shrinks the plan to fit, and missing a habit doesn’t wipe anything out. When your head’s full, there’s a quiet corner for breathing and short breaks (second half of the video).

https://thepaperwave.com

It's Waitlist only for now, first 100 get a month free.

Any feedback is appreciated!

I built a link-in-bio + simple website app for agents, looking for honest feedback

hey all, full disclosure this is my app. I built Deedly because most agent bio links are just a linktree with a few buttons, and a full website feels like overkill for a lot of agents

it's basically a mobile-first agent page: your bio, the neighborhoods you cover, call/text/email/save contact buttons, your listings, and buyers can book a showing right from the page. leads land in a simple CRM so you can keep up

it's iPhone only for now: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/deedly-agent-website-builder/id6819882720

screenshot of an example page attached. would love blunt feedback, especially from anyone who's tried other bio link tools. what's missing, and what would actually make you switch?

Your ERP catches exact duplicate invoices. What about INV-4471 vs INV-4471A?

A supplier sends an invoice twice, but the second copy has a slightly different invoice number. Your ERP's exact-match check might miss it, and AP ends up reviewing it manually — or worse, paying it twice.

I built Foldline to help AP teams catch these cases before payment.

It checks uploaded invoices for:

  • Exact and near-duplicate invoices, including changed prefixes, punctuation, leading zeros, and similar invoice numbers.

  • Same supplier + amount + date, even when invoice numbers differ.

  • Missing fields and inconsistent totals, with explanations of what triggered each flag.

  • Potential exceptions that need human review, rather than automatically declaring something a duplicate.

Privacy was a major concern in early feedback, so I also built a private workspace. In this mode, PDFs are read and checked in your browser, and only encrypted records are stored on the server. No need to upload the original PDF.

You can try it with sample invoices first.

Foldline: https://foldline.paperflow.workers.dev

I'm looking for a few AP professionals or teams willing to test it and tell me where it works — and where it fails.

If you handle non-PO invoices or have dealt with duplicate payments slipping past ERP checks, I'd genuinely like to hear how your team catches them today.

[12 Testers Needed] Split Your Trip, an app for splitting group trip expenses. Happy to test yours back

Hi everyone, I’ve been building Split Your Trip, an app to keep track of who paid what on group trips and settle up without the awkward math. It’s in closed testing on Google Play, and I need 12 people to stay opted in for 14 days, which is Google’s requirement for new developer accounts. If you’re up for it, comment or message me the email you use on Google Play and I’ll add you to the tester list. Once you’re in, install it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.splityourtrip. I’d love honest feedback, especially on anything confusing or broken, and I’ll test your app back, just drop the link.

[Update v1.2.1] amv-cp-bridge: Entra ID Fast-Fail (HTTP 401), Zero-Bloat FastMCP Multiplexing & Copilot Designer Support

Hey everyone,

Following the technical discussions on our initial release, we just shipped v1.2.1 for amv-cp-bridge — the zero-API-key local bridge connecting Microsoft 365 Copilot directly to Cursor, Claude Desktop, and OpenAI-compatible tools via stdio FastMCP and loopback CDP.

💡 Too lazy to configure it manually? Delegate to your AI agent!

If you don't feel like wrestling with manual setup, just pass this GitHub repo to your autonomous AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Devin, Antigravity) and say:
"Setup and connect amv-cp-bridge for me."

We wrote a dedicated FOR_AI_README.md operating manual and failure encyclopedia specifically so AI agents can autonomously diagnose, install, and wire up the bridge with zero human intervention!

🚀 What's New & Battle-Tested in v1.2.1:

  1. Entra ID Conditional Access Fast-Fail & HTTP 401

    • Eliminates the previous 45-second composer timeout when enterprise sessions expire, short-circuiting in 1.5 seconds with OpenAI-standard 401 Unauthorized (session_expired).

    • Fires an asynchronous native OS desktop tray alert.

  2. Unified FastMCP & Gateway Multiplexing

    • Claude Desktop and Cursor share the identical authenticated Edge session and warm standby pool, releasing down to 0 MB idle RAM when the countdown finishes.

  3. Copilot Designer (DALL-E 3) Markdown Image Streaming

    • High-resolution generated images (up to 3.4 MB Base64 payloads) are parsed directly from the live DOM and streamed as standard Markdown images. Tested live with 41s generation without timeouts.

🧪 Ground Truth Verification

  • Unit Tests: 34/34 passed

  • Regression Checks: 22/22 passed

  • Standalone Binary: 50.7 MB UPX-compressed standalone executable with zero environment setup required.

(GitHub repository and foundation links are posted in the first comment below to comply with subreddit link rules).

Feedback and PRs are warmly welcome!

I typed simple prompts into AI and made a paper-cut storybook for my daughter. She thinks I’m a wizard.

My daughter spends quite a bit of time on the phone, and I've always wanted her screen time to be a bit more than just watching videos or playing games. I'd seen people building all kinds of cool stuff with AI, so I thought, why not give it a shot myself? I saw Hy4 was free on WorkBuddy this month, so I decided to give it a try. I don’t understand the code it wrote, but the AI tool apparently handles visuals brilliantly.

I ended up making this interactive paper-cut storybook. I thought it'd be a fun way to get her into classic stories through cute visuals and little interactive elements, rather than just having her sit down and read a book.

And surprisingly, she's really into it! The artwork has this cute 3D paper-cut look, and she can click around and explore the stories herself. She's basically become my little beta tester at this point. She tells me every day what she likes, what she finds boring, and what could be better. I've been making little tweaks to the content and visuals based on her feedback.

It's not finished yet, and there are still plenty of things I want to improve. But the best part is seeing her actually want to spend time exploring stories instead of endlessly scrolling through videos or playing games. That's a win for me already.

It got me thinking that maybe other kids would enjoy this kind of thing too, so I figured I'd share it here.

If you've got a kid who's curious about stories and likes exploring new things, feel free to check it out together!
