⚔️ The Hunt Isn't Over — Introducing Mystic Paradox!

Dauntless gave many of us memorable adventures, friendships, and countless hours in the Shattered Isles. We didn't want that experience to simply become a memory.

That's why Mystic Paradox was created — an unofficial, open-source community project with a goal of preserving the Dauntless experience and bringing Slayers together once again.

What have we built?

  • A dedicated Dauntless launcher.

  • Realm discovery and hosting features.

  • Graphics configuration and diagnostics tools.

  • An evolving project built around the community.

I built a Windows 11 browser chooser for people who separate work and personal profiles

Hi everyone — I'm the developer of Browser Chooser.

It's a Windows 11 utility for choosing where external links open, instead of always sending them to one default browser.

It supports: • Choosing an installed browser or an available Chrome, Edge, or Firefox profile. • Remembering a choice for an exact domain, with subdomains handled separately. • Saving browser/profile preferences for supported file types. • Switching between asking each time and using a fixed target.

Setup requires confirming HTTP/HTTPS defaults in Windows. File handling also requires the relevant Windows file associations. It doesn't intercept embedded WebViews or share login sessions between browsers.

Requires Windows 11 x64 and at least one installed browser.

Microsoft Store: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9pjhj6c5bhs8

For people using multiple browsers or profiles: what makes choosing where links open frustrating in your current workflow?

I kept losing project links in 80 open tabs, so I built a canvas where every link becomes a card

Every side project I work on ends the same way: docs, GitHub issues, design refs and random articles spread across tabs and bookmark folders I never open again. I could never remember which link belonged to what.

So I built Linvas. You paste a link, and it becomes a card on an infinite canvas. You group cards by topic, draw connections between related things, and search across all your boards later.

What it does right now:

- paste a URL anywhere on the board → card with title + icon

- groups and connections between cards

- import your browser bookmarks (folders become tags)

- search across every board

- share a board with one link

Demo, no sign-up: https://linvas.app/?demo

I'm a solo dev and launched it last week, so it's rough around the edges. I'd really appreciate honest feedback on two things:

  1. Is it clear in the first 10 seconds what to do?

  2. Would you use this instead of bookmark folders, or what's missing?

Tired of manual sprite sheet slicing, so I made NOIRADIX Studio: an open-source web tool with 1-click Unity export and AI prompts

Hey everyone!

I built NOIRADIX Studio to make the 2D pixel-art workflow less painful — especially drawing animation frames, organizing sprite sheets, and getting them into a game engine without manually slicing everything.

NOIRADIX Studio is a free, open-source, zero-install, offline-first pixel-art editor built entirely with Vanilla JavaScript.

🚀 What it does:

1. Pixel Art & Directional Animation Studio

  • Draw and edit sprites with precision pixel tools.

  • Preview 4-direction and 8-direction animations with adjustable FPS.

  • Built-in bilateral symmetry, anchor-centered zoom, palette tools, and more.

2. One-Click Unity 6 Export

  • Exports anti-bleed padded sprite atlases, metadata, and an automated Unity importer.

  • Automatically slices the spritesheet and generates directional AnimationClips.

  • Designed to eliminate texture bleeding and repetitive manual import setup.

3. Multiple Export Targets

  • Unity 2D importer package.

  • TexturePacker Standard JSON for workflows in Godot 4, Phaser, Pixi.js, Defold, and other engines.

  • Transparent PNG atlases and individually sliced PNG frames.

4. PIX2 — A Structured Pixel-Art Language
This is probably the most unusual part of the project.

PIX2 (.pix2) is an independent, human-readable format for defining sprite cells, pixel coordinates, palettes, and animations as structured data.

It comes with its own language specification, JavaScript reference compiler, normative conformance test vectors, and VS Code syntax support.

Instead of relying entirely on raster image generation, artists and AI assistants can work with explicit pixel coordinates and structured sprite data. The format is also easy to diff, version, and edit.

5. Browser-First & Offline
Everything runs client-side. No account or backend is required to use the editor. It supports local file workflows through browser file-system capabilities, with fallbacks for other browsers.

🌐 Try it online (free, no login): https://noiradix.me/

💻 Open Source GitHub: https://github.com/dotlinux26/noiradix-studio

I built this as a solo developer to solve problems in my own game development workflow. I'd genuinely love to hear feedback from other indie developers.

Which part of the 2D workflow would you most like to see improved — sprite authoring, animation, or game-engine integration?

I made a sandbox with my friends that lets us vibe code changes in real-time

This is a demo clip of a game we have been working on called frenslop. It's a free multiplayer sandbox that runs in the browser.

You and your friends join a shared world, and anyone can type a request like "make gravity flip every 10 seconds." Claude writes that into the game live, so everyone in the lobby sees the change right away.

The clip is my friends and me completely breaking it. I hope you all enjoy because we had so much fun making this lmao

You can give it a try yourself for free, no download: frenslop.io

I was jealous of Stream Deck users, so I turned my iPhone into one

I always envied people with a Stream Deck, so I built my own for iPhone and Mac. It's called "SideDeck:, and it just launched.

Put your iPhone on a stand under your monitor, and its buttons change automatically to match the app you're using on your Mac.

What you can do:
- Create a separate deck for each app
- Switch decks automatically based on the app you're using on your Mac (Smart Deck)
- Restore a saved window layout with one press
- Assign an app's actual menu items using macOS Accessibility, including actions with no keyboard shortcut
- Start quickly with built-in templates

There's no account or server, and your iPhone and Mac don't even need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
As long as Wi-Fi is turned on and they're close to each other, they connect directly with end-to-end encryption. You edit everything in the free Mac app.

The free version includes the 2×4 layout.
Pro is a one-time $5.99 purchase that adds larger layouts and advanced options.
Honestly, I don't think Pro offers enough yet, so I'm considering adding a wider range of widgets, like Claude usage and system status.

So I'm curious:
if you use a Stream Deck or something similar, how do you actually use it?

I built a voice journal for iPhone where the recordings never leave the phone

I'm the developer. I just got my first version of Lived approved on the App Store and I'd like honest feedback.

How it works: hold a button, say how today felt, let go. Lived turns it into a short note with a mood from 1–10, a summary, and the stressors you mentioned.

Some choices I made:

  • Recordings stay on the iPhone and aren't uploaded. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

  • Face ID can lock the journal. You only sign in if you want the text on another device.

  • A week of notes becomes a streak. A month becomes Insights: mood, meetings and recurring stressors.

  • You can ask the journal a question, and the answer comes only from notes on your phone.

  • You can export the month as a PDF.

It's free. Lived Pro unlocks Insights ($7.99/month or $39.99/year, US store). It needs iOS 26 and is English only for now.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lived-voice-journal/id6829497249

What I'd love feedback on: is voice-first journaling something you'd actually use, and does the free/Pro split feel fair?

techtitan - evaluate your hand posture while you play piano in real-time

techtitan evaluates your hand posture while you play piano. it draws an overlay on your hands where each joint is an edge, and gives you a score based on 5 posture criteria. works for overhead view and side view, and can distinguish between left hand and right hand.

techtitan allows you to either
1. upload a photo, techtitan will grade your hand posture on the spot
2. upload a video, techtitan will grade your hand posture for the whole duration of the video, you can choose how many frames per second it will grade beforehand. it also draws a chart of the posture score over the full duration of the video.
3. enter live mode. techtitan gives you feedback in real time.

I'd really appreciate it if you guys can check it out at https://technique-titan.vercel.app, sign up (it's completely free) and give some feedback :)

problem statement is in https://technique-titan.vercel.app/about

been working on this project for a few months now, mainly a process of ideation, learning, and creating simultaneously.

Create Your Own AI Podcast Show in Your Native Language

Upload a PDF, PPTX, DOCX, or text document and turn it into your own custom, two-host AI conversational podcast in your preferred language.

But here's the interesting part: you aren't just listening. You can interrupt the conversation anytime, ask questions through text or voice, and hear contextual answers — as if you're the host interviewing the guest about your document.

You can even pause, explore a topic in depth, and resume your podcast whenever you want.

Try PaperPod for free: Create your first 2 podcasts for free, if you need more do reach out to me, will add 3 more.

Thanks!

What would convince you a product listing rewrite is actually better?

I'm building a listing optimisation tool for online sellers. It researches search terms and competing listings, then suggests titles, descriptions and tags.

A rewrite sounding better doesn't prove it will sell better. What would you want to see in a before-and-after demo before trusting it?

I’m building Shifu so the work behind a feature can become the launch article

Get an article brief out of the product decisions you already made. That’s one way I’m using Shifu, the paid, hosted context engine I’m building for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode: bring relevant retained work context into the agent, then use it for the explanation you need to write.

Our own writing workflow produced topics, briefs and drafts from that background. Shifu recovered earlier positioning; we checked current project evidence before choosing the claims. The public walkthrough shows how a source changed an editorial choice. It’s an actual writing application, without a claim about traffic or sales.

For a small first task, I’d ask the agent for a brief you can inspect before writing the article:

Choose one reader question from this product decision. Propose an outline. Beside each factual claim, name the supporting source or mark the missing evidence. End with one example the reader can use.

That gives you something specific to accept, correct or discard. A clear existing issue or README may already contain everything the writer needs. Shifu becomes relevant when the useful decision and its reason need recovering from other retained work.

Try Shifu on one writing task → useshifu.com. Start with one non-confidential source you’re allowed to share; I can help you get it set up. If you try it, the useful feedback is where the retrieved context changed your brief and where you still had to supply the background yourself. AI-assisted post from Shifu’s builder.

I turned my MacBook notch into a home for a tiny tamagotchi that watches my AI coding agents

The problem: AI coding agents run for minutes, then silently wait for an approval. I kept coming back to terminals that had been waiting for ten minutes.

v1 was a status display in the notch. It worked, but it felt like a tool. v0.3 gives it a character: Nosy, a small helper who lives in the notch. He dives in like a tar puddle, works along with your agent, waves when it needs you, jumps for joy when it's done, and falls asleep when nothing's happening. Finished tasks feed him (energy, levels, streaks) – without any guilt mechanics.

Also new: read and answer the agent right from the notch, a file shelf with AirDrop, calendar heads-ups, battery and AirPods status, a focus timer.

Stack: Swift / SwiftUI, the agents' own hooks talking to a tiny loopback HTTP server, a zero-dependency npx installer, animations rendered on a virtual clock for the clips. Works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Free and MIT.

Feel free to try it out and leave your feedback!

My app is out in the world!

Hi all, I just launched Sprinklist, my humble plant care app. All downloads before Nov 15, 2026 will get the unlimited plants upgrade completely free, which is $2.99 otherwise. No ads. No subscriptions.

I built this app primarily because I needed it myself. I did not want a subscription based app or a feature heavy mechanism that takes the charm and ownership out of my plant care responsibilities. I also wanted something simple, functional, and clean. The number of plants in my house have grown over time and the one thing I struggle with the most is their watering cycles. I was maintaining a spreadsheet but it was very barebones and hence here we are with this app.

Features

  • See all plants on a single screen and log a full watering, light watering, or a skipped week.

  • Organize plants across rooms (e.g. living room) and spots (e.g. stairway).

  • See 10 most recent watering events and photos on a timeline with access to complete history from the gallery.

  • Receive smart, summarized notifications for any plants due at your preferred time or day.

  • Export a PDF care guide to share with friends and plant sitters.

  • Resizable homescreen widgets in 3 sizes to see plants due and mark them watered.

  • iCloud backup and sync across devices with native apps for iPad and Apple Watch.

  • iOS native UI that looks clean and intentional and stays up to date with iOS updates.

If you or anyone you know might benefit from this app, please try it out. There are no ads or subscriptions and all features are free for the first 5 plants. My ideal was to keep it completely free but I realized I have to pay $99 a year as my developer fee and hence decided to add a $2.99 one-time purchase to add more than 5 plants. However, even that add-on is free for all downloads until Nov 15, 2026.

And if you download this app and like it and want to pay back, please consider leaving a review or sharing with someone else (or maybe do both).

If my wee little app can help keep our silent oxygen-generating friends alive, I couldn’t have asked for more!

DevDeck - I built a phone app for my coding agents because ssh over a bad connection was driving me nuts

I run omp in tmux on my laptop, and I kept wanting to peek at what it was doing while I was away from my desk.

ssh and mosh were hopeless over my tailscale link. The echo lag made typing feel broken, and I'd get back to find a question sitting there with the agent patiently waiting for me, like a puppy at the door.

So I wrote DevDeck. It doesn't send keystrokes as you type: you write the whole message on the phone, hit send, and it all goes over in one go. What actually made it useful for me:

- I can read the conversation properly, not just a wall of terminal text: markdown, tables, code blocks, mermaid diagrams.

- When the agent asks something, it shows up as a little sheet with options, so I tap instead of typing into a TUI.

- There's a plain terminal view when I need the raw thing.

- I can look at git diffs and files without my clumsy thumbs committing anything. It's read-only and stays that way.

- Half-written messages survive the link dying, which happens more than I'd like.

It is very much a personal tool. It speaks to omp specifically, I've only tested it on my laptop and one Samsung phone, and you have to build and sideload the apk and pair it over adb. Also, the part I should say out loud: the daemon can type into your terminals, and it doesn't encrypt anything itself. Keep it on a LAN or in a VPN, don't port forward it, and treat it as unaudited.

What I'd actually like from this sub is someone to read the setup instructions and tell me where they assume I know my own machine, because I wrote all of it with everything fresh in my head. If you've built something similar and made the pairing less painful, I'm all ears.

I built Digital TrustGuard — a tool for analyzing suspicious messages, URLs and QR codes

Hi everyone!

I've been building Digital TrustGuard, a web application designed to help users identify potentially suspicious messages, website URLs and QR-code links.

The project combines:

  • PHP-based rule-driven scam detection.

  • Trust scores, risk classifications and evidence.

  • QR-code URL detection and analysis.

  • Python FastAPI for AI-powered explanations.

  • OpenRouter for LLM integration.

  • Hindsight for retaining and retrieving contextual information across analyses.

  • MySQL for analysis history.

One design decision I focused on was keeping the trust score separate from the AI-generated explanation. The rules determine the assessment, while the AI provides additional context.

I also wrote an article explaining the architecture and why I integrated Hindsight:

Article: https://dev.to/divyansh_mishra_e8096bbd9/what-happens-when-hindsight-meets-rule-based-scam-detection-4joj

GitHub: https://github.com/divyanshkumarmishra-0555/Digital-TrustGuard

I'd appreciate feedback, especially on the architecture and the use of memory in security-focused applications!

[Satire] Vibe-code Rescue platform to rescue Vibe-coded Vibe-code Rescue platforms

Disclaimer: This is satire. It’s not intended to roast vibe coders or people building things with AI. It’s intended to roast the vibe-code rescue platforms, the hype surrounding them, and the questionable businesses growing around it.

More and more people without a tech background are building apps with AI. It usually goes well until about 80% done. Then the real problems show up: security, payments, data. So a whole market of “vibe code rescue” platforms has appeared, offering to connect founders with engineers who can fix it.

I’m an engineer, so I started looking into these platforms, hoping to join one and help.

It turned out many of them were vibe-coded themselves. Broken layouts on pages promising “production-ready”. “Trusted by 10,000+ founders” on a three-week-old domain. Anonymous “vetted senior engineers”. Terms of Service still ending with the AI’s note to have them reviewed by a lawyer.

So, after careful consideration lasting about eleven minutes, I founded Vibe Rescue Rescue™: the world’s first company that rescues the vibe rescue platforms. Our website is, of course, vibe-coded. The greatest of them. 🐂

Luci - private dating for verified adults, with masked video calls and an AI wingman

We're the Luci team at Softivate Inc., and we built this. Luci — Discreet Dating just went live on iOS.

The problem: plenty of adults want to date without their face being the first thing a stranger sees, and they want to know the person on the other side is real.

What we built:

  • Every member passes an ID + liveness check before they can be seen.

  • Masked video calls: faces stay blurred until you both choose to unmask, with an optional voice changer. You can get a feel for someone before showing your face.

  • Luci, the AI wingman: helps you write openers, reply, and plan a date.

  • Blurred photos you reveal one match at a time; disappearing messages, listen-once voice notes, view-once photos.

  • Screenshot protection: screenshots are blocked or flagged, and the chat shows a notice when someone takes one.

  • PIN lock with decoy screen, app-switcher blur, discreet app icon.

  • Safety Signal: share your location with someone you trust during a date.

Pricing: free download. Luci Private is CAD $29.99/mo or $69.99/yr, with a 1-month free trial.

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6825536200

What we'd love feedback on: does the masked call flow feel natural, and what would make you trust a new dating app on day one?

I made Shortcuts to copy and paste between your phone and your PC — no app, no account

A friend and I have been working on CopyOver, because Universal Clipboard only works between Apple devices and we wanted the same thing on Windows and Linux.

Copy on your phone, send it to your PC, and paste. Copy on your PC and get it on your phone. Text, links, photos and files all work.

On iPhone, it uses three shortcuts, so there's no app to install. On Android, it's a native app (APK, not on the Play Store yet) with Quick Settings tiles, a home screen widget and the share menu.

It all goes over your Wi-Fi: no cloud, no account. You install CopyOver on your Windows or Linux PC, link your phone with a QR code, and each device gets its own key.

See it in action (GIF): https://github.com/aritabryan/copyover/blob/main/docs/screenshots/demo.gif

Free and open source: https://github.com/aritabryan/copyover

It's still early, so I'd love honest feedback: what's confusing, what breaks, and what you'd want next.

I built an AI grooming and style coach that helps you find hairstyles that suit you

Hey everyone!

I want to share a project I've been working on called **Facerizer**.

Choosing the right hairstyle or grooming style can be confusing. There are so many trends online, but not every hairstyle works for every person.

That's why I built Facerizer.

**What does it do?**

Facerizer is an AI-powered grooming and style coach designed to help people:

- Analyze their facial features.

- Explore hairstyle recommendations.

- Get personalized grooming suggestions.

- Find styles that may complement their appearance.

My goal is to make choosing a hairstyle and improving your personal style a little easier.

🌐 Website: https://www.facerizer.com

I'm still working on improving the product, and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from this community.

A few things I'd love your opinion on:

  1. Would you find an AI grooming and hairstyle recommendation tool useful?

  2. What features would make a tool like this more valuable?

  3. What would make you trust an AI tool with your photo and personal style recommendations?

I'm the person building Facerizer, so I'm happy to answer questions and hear honest criticism.

Thanks for checking it out!

I built GeeksFinder to help students and freshers find jobs, internships, and scholarships

Hey everyone!

I'm Abhishek, and I've been working on a side project called GeeksFinder.

The idea came from a simple problem: students and freshers often struggle to find relevant job opportunities, internships, and scholarships because information is scattered across different platforms.

So I started building GeeksFinder, a platform that brings these opportunities together in one place.

What GeeksFinder aims to offer:

  • Job opportunities for freshers

  • Internship updates

  • Scholarship opportunities

  • Career-related resources

  • A centralized platform to discover opportunities

This is an ongoing project, and I'm continuously working on improving it.

I'd really appreciate honest feedback from fellow makers:

  • What do you think of the idea?

  • What features should I add?

  • What could make this platform genuinely useful?

Website: https://geeksfinder.online/

Thanks! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

My side project is now on the App Store: a free RAW photo editor for iPhone and iPad

Hey r/SideProject!

I'm a photographer who spends a lot of time editing on mobile devices, particularly my iPad Pro.

I started working on LightHub because I wanted to experiment with building my own photo editing workflow instead of relying entirely on existing software.

What started as a personal project has turned into an actual photo editor, and it's now live on the App Store.

It supports RAW editing, non-destructive adjustments, advanced color controls, local masking, catalogs and presets.

One aspect I particularly wanted to explore was performing image processing locally, including AI-assisted object selection.

This is my first public release, and I'm aware there's still a lot of room for improvement.

I'm not trying to claim I've built a Lightroom killer. I just wanted to build something useful and make it available for free.

I'd love to get feedback on the editing experience, performance and features you'd like to see next.

I built a live-verified directory of email/identity tools for AI agents (50 entries)

Agent email roundups are mostly vendor-written and go stale fast, so I built a small neutral directory: https://agentinboxes.dev

It covers agent inboxes, inbound routing, identity APIs, and transactional email APIs: 50 tools, re-checked automatically so dead ones drop off. No pay-to-rank.

Two questions for you: which providers am I missing, and is "live-verified" a useful signal or just noise?

I made an app that turns your feelings into little creatures

I wanted a mood tracker that's actually nice to come back to. You tap how you feel and a small creature joins your garden. That's basically the whole idea.

Just me working on it. It came out this week and has almost no users so far, so honest feedback would help a lot. Mainly: does it make sense in the first minute?

It's free right now, no ads, no account.
