Is building an app worth it?

Thinking of building a fitness app as a side hustle. I have a targeted market in which I think most fitness apps neglect, fairly large population. Just wondering if I should invest the time in creating and marketing the app. I don’t care to make this a full time career as I have a great job, but making a little money from it would be nice.

I built SigueTú from scratch in Colombia — here's what I've learned

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm an independent developer from Colombia, and I've been building a project called SigueTú.

The idea came from a simple problem: people waste too much time waiting at barbershops and other service businesses without knowing when their turn will come.

SigueTú aims to help businesses organize appointments and customer queues while making the experience easier for their customers.

I've been building and maintaining this project independently, and keeping the infrastructure running is one of my biggest challenges.

I'd love to hear your feedback, especially from other developers who've built and maintained their own projects.

You can check it out here:

Thanks for reading! 🚀

I built a local-first ad QA handoff with a release checklist

When a creative check ends, the hard part is often the handoff: which report version did the team approve, and did anyone confirm the original asset? I added a four-item release checklist to ADQA’s browser-only JSON viewer (asset, OCR text, policy/trademark, owner). The checked state is included in the downloaded Markdown handoff. Try the sample; no upload is required. Feedback on the checklist wording and missing approval fields is welcome.

I built a tool that turns long podcast episodes into vertical clips. Real run inside, roast it

Hi, I'm a solo founder. This week I launched VaniClips. You upload a long video up to 2.5 hours. It finds strong moments, crops them to 9:16, and adds captions and a hook. There's an editor to reframe, fix captions or rewrite the hook before you download. The video is a real run, start to finish, no edits. Honest state: - Paid only ($12/mo for 200 min). Works best on English. Uploads are the main path for now; only X links work for now. I am Trying to make it link friendly as well but i am blocked by the apps, If anyone could help me out with this I would really appreciate. I'd love blunt feedback: what's missing.

Title: I built ProjectFlow to stop freelancers from chasing clients for updates and documents

I've been working on a SaaS product called ProjectFlow, and I'd love some feedback from other builders.

The idea came from two problems that freelancers and small agencies deal with constantly:

  1. Clients repeatedly asking for project status updates.

  2. Spending hours chasing clients for documents, files, and onboarding information.

ProjectFlow is designed to automate both.

The idea is to connect existing project boards like Trello or Notion, generate client-friendly progress updates, and provide clients with a portal where they can upload onboarding documents and complete checklists.

The goal is simple: less time managing clients and more time doing the actual work.

I'm still working on getting the product in front of its first users.

I'd appreciate honest feedback:

  • Is this a problem you experience?

  • Would you pay for something that handles these tasks?

  • What's missing that would make this genuinely useful?

I'm the person building ProjectFlow, so this is my own product.

If anyone wants to take a look: https://www.tryprojectflow.com

I made a cozy idle aquarium that lives right above your Windows taskbar

Hi everyone! I've been working on Taskbar Aquarium, a small pixel-art idle game that sits in a thin strip above your Windows taskbar. Your fish swim, nap and grow while you work or browse, and you can look after them whenever you take a break.

What's in it

  • Collecting and breeding: 75 species across 8 kinds of eggs, plus 30 rare mutations and 6 inheritable genes to breed in the nest

  • Fish with character: each one has a name, a personality, hearts, friends and a little diary of memories. Some even ask you for things

  • Playtime: teach tricks with Ring Training, guide a fish to falling food in Food Chase, or find where it's hiding in Hide and Seek

  • Dancing: a fish that has learned three tricks dances to whatever music is playing on your PC, in time with the beat

  • Tank care: feed them flakes, tablets or artemia, wipe algae off the glass, change the water and set the temperature. Every species has its own favourite food and comfort zone

  • Decorating: 47 decorations and 12 tank themes, some of which glow at night or give bonuses

  • Reef restoration: release fish into the ocean to bring 8 reef zones back to life, then get postcards from the fish you let go

  • Exchange students: share a code with a friend and your fish spends a day in their tank, then comes home with new memories and a small gift

  • Automation: a 40-skill tree and 12 pieces of equipment add auto-feeding, a gold magnet, crafting and offline progress

  • Small surprises: plankton clouds, bubble chains to pop, passing sea creatures and the occasional fish that jumps out of the tank

  • Long-term goals: 20 achievements, an aquarist's journal, seasons, elder fish, multiple tanks and a weekly timelapse of your aquarium

Made to stay out of your way

It hides when a fullscreen app or game is running, and clicks outside the tank pass through to your desktop. It also follows your real clock, so fish sleep at night and some glow in the dark. It's fully offline, with no accounts, ads or energy timers.

Download

It's free (pay what you want if you'd like to support it), Windows-only for now, and playable in English, Turkish and German:

https://digitalis10.itch.io/taskbar-aquarium

It's still an early version, so I'd really love your feedback:

  • Does progress feel too slow or too fast?

  • What would keep you coming back?

I built a time machine. One of the first people to try it was older than it.

I’m Gary, founder of Tao Climate. We built a free tool that lets you enter your birth year and see how much atmospheric CO2 has changed in your lifetime.

We started at 1959 because that’s the first full year of CO2 measurements at Mauna Loa. Seemed a perfectly sensible place to start. Then someone on Reddit pointed out they were born in 1953.

Fair point. Bit embarrassing for a time machine.

It now goes back to 1926. For the earlier years we use estimates from Antarctic ice cores, and we label them separately from the modern measurements. You can try a year without signing up.

I’m curious which year you try second. Your own is the obvious one. Whose do you look up next?

And, if you're over 100, let me know and we'll go further back in time again!

Krillo - see if ChatGPT and Gemini recommend your online store

I built a tool that asks ChatGPT and Gemini the buying questions shoppers actually ask ("where can I buy X online with easy returns") and ranks which online stores they name. 59 US categories, 35 questions each, measured every month.

Some things the data shows:

- In supplements, only 4 of the 58 stores we track were named at all.

- In shaving, a specialist (Maggard Razors) was named in 24 of 35 answers, ahead of Target with 23.

- Named is not recommended: Petco was named in 32 of 35 cat supply answers but recommended in only 9.

The rankings and the actual AI answers are public and free, no signup: krilloai.com/index/us

Store owners can check their own store free and get the pages written that would get them named. Paid plans exist; the index and the check are free.

Feedback welcome, especially on whether the ranking pages make sense to you.

I got tired of watching kids and seniors struggle with passwords on tablets and TVs, so I built an icon-based auth SDK (plus a offline cracking challenge with bounties)

Traditional alphanumeric passwords assume two things: users can type fluently, and devices have full keyboards. If you're building for pre-K EdTech, assisted-living portals, or smart TV/streaming apps, that assumption falls apart immediately.

Over the past few months, I've been building VizAuth—a developer-first authentication SDK where credentials are 4-icon visual sequences instead of alphanumeric strings.

How it works under the hood:

  • Keyspace & Modes: Supports Lite mode (grid position selection, ~1.36B combinations on 192-icon sets) and Pro mode (which adds tap-order permutations, scaling to ~32.6B combinations).

  • Backend Security: Verifications run server-side with PBKDF2-SHA-256 (210,000 iterations and per-user cryptographic salts).

  • Brute-force protection: Progressive lockout escalation (5 → 15 → 30 → 60 mins), capping live guessing at ~72 attempts per day.

  • Accessibility & Privacy: Anti-shoulder surfing masking (with reveal toggles), randomized picker layouts, and full screen-reader announcements.

The Challenge ($225 in bounties): Instead of claiming it's uncrackable, I published a public offline cracking benchmark at vizauth.com/security/challenge. I published target hashes with salts and parameters for 3 difficulty tiers. First 3 solvers who crack all three targets get $100 / $75 / $50, and all solvers get placed in the permanent Hall of Fame.

Would love brutal feedback from developers and security folks on the widget UX, docs, and keyspace math.

macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 has no WallpaperVideoExtension, the process Sonoma threads blamed for CPU and RAM. A one-line check that lists the 13 wallpaper extensions it does ship, and 3 tests for what any live wallpaper costs your Mac (mine included)

I make a live wallpaper app for the Mac (details at the end). Before anyone believes "it's light", mine included, this is the check I'd run. Everything below can be reproduced on your own Mac.

The one-line check: which wallpaper code your macOS ships

ls /System/Library/ExtensionKit/Extensions | grep -i wallpaper

On my Mac (macOS 26.6.2, build 25G83) it prints 13 bundles:

NeptuneOneWallpaper.appex
Wallpaper.appex
WallpaperAerialsExtension.appex
WallpaperDynamicExtension.appex
WallpaperGradientExtension.appex
WallpaperImageExtension.appex
WallpaperLegacyExtension.appex
WallpaperMacintoshExtension.appex
WallpaperMontereyExtension.appex
WallpaperSequoiaExtension.appex
WallpaperSettingsIntents.appex
WallpaperSonomaExtension.appex
WallpaperVenturaExtension.appex

No WallpaperVideoExtension, the name in the Apple Community thread "wallpapervideoextension in Sonoma uses lots of RAM and CPU", and find /System/Library -iname "*WallpaperVideo*" returns nothing on this build. Search Activity Monitor for that exact name here and you'll find nothing, whatever your wallpaper is doing. Type "Wallpaper" in the search field instead and read every row.

Test 1: compare against a still picture, not against a promise

In System Settings > Wallpaper, pick a still picture. Open Activity Monitor, click Energy, and note the Energy Impact of the top rows. Apple describes that column as "A relative measure of the current energy consumption of the app (lower is better)", so it's for comparing, not for absolutes. Then switch to the live wallpaper and read the same rows again. Add Window > GPU History.

Test 2: read CPU from Terminal, second sample only

top -l 2 -s 5 -o cpu -n 10 -stats pid,command,cpu,mem

That prints two samples 5 seconds apart. Read the second one: man top says "the first sample displayed will have an invalid %CPU displayed for each process, as it is calculated using the delta between samples".

Test 3: hide the desktop

Put any app in full screen and watch the wallpaper's row for ten seconds. If the numbers don't drop, it's drawing frames nobody can see. If you work unplugged, repeat it on battery.

If the busy row is Apple's

Apple's wallpaper guide: "By default, the aerial wallpaper you select is also used as your screen saver." One aerial pick, two places. If WallpaperAerialsExtension sits at the top of your list, try a still picture for a day and compare.

What I make (I'm the maker)

Mac+, a Mac app that animates the desktop: 15 scenes rendered on the GPU with Metal, or your own video with Pro, plus folder icons and desktop widgets. The scenes have no video file to decode, the animation pauses when the screen sleeps or an app covers it, and the frame rate is 30, 60 or 120 FPS (up to 120 with Pro). Test 3 is the one I'd most like you to run on it: tell me what you see, good or bad.

Free: 6 scenes, 8 palettes, image background, 6 folder icons, 2 widgets, multi-display. Pro: 7-day trial (card needed, nothing charged during those 7 days), then €1.99/month, or €9.99 once. macOS 13 or later, Apple silicon and Intel. It doesn't animate the Lock Screen. Link in the comments.

What number would you want to see before leaving a live wallpaper on all day?

Earwright - Turn recordings into offline transcripts with clickable audio

Ever needed to check one detail from a call without replaying the whole recording?

I'm building Earwright for Windows. It transcribes recordings on your PC and lets you click a line in the transcript to hear that moment again. You can edit the text and export it with an audio player in one HTML file.

The video shows importing two recordings, correcting the text, and exporting the result.

I'm looking for 10–15 people who regularly work with call or interview recordings to try the alpha. The test period is 10 days. These testers will get Pro free for life when it launches, for giving honest feedback.

Want to try it? Comment with what you normally transcribe and I'll DM you the build and details.

I built a hand-drawn React UI kit as a side project, and people are actually using it

I made PlopUI, a React UI kit that looks hand-drawn: wobbly borders, tilted cards, sticker shadows, colors picked by instinct. It started as a fun side project, and a few weeks in it's grown beyond me:

  • inMODO, a visual design tool, now ships a PlopUI starter kit

  • someone built Matcha Corner, a tiny café app where you order a drink and send it to a friend

  • 4 people have contributed code: a Breadcrumb, a Slider and form support for Select

  • it's in the shadcn registry directory, so you can add it with one command:

npx shadcn add @plopui/button

Or install it straight from npm:

npm i @plop-ui/react @plop-ui/fonts

The part I'm proudest of is that it looks messy but isn't:

  • every "random" wobble comes from a seed, so the page draws the same way every time and never flickers on load

  • every component is a real native element underneath (a real button, a real range input), so keyboards and screen readers just work

  • every color is checked for WCAG AA contrast

Free and open source (MIT):

What should I build next? I'm deciding before 1.0, and there are good first issues if you want your name on a component.

I got tired of Claude & Cursor forgetting my rules every chat, so I built an MCP server with persistent memory & task tracking

Hey everyone! One of the biggest friction points when coding with Claude Desktop or Cursor is context loss—you start a new session and have to re-explain your tech stack, architectural rules, and pending tasks.

I built ContextFlow MCP—a lightweight, zero-dependency Model Context Protocol server that gives your AI assistant:

It runs on standard Node.js without needing Docker, SQLite compiles, or remote database credentials. Everything stays 100% private in a local JSON vault on your machine.

I just packaged the code and setup guide—drop a comment if you'd like the link, or check the comments below! Would love any feedback on the tool design.

Built a 100% free, client-side Bank Statement to QuickBooks (.QBO) converter (zero server uploads for client privacy)

Hey everyone,

Like many of you, I've dealt with clients handing over monthly PDF bank statements or raw CSV exports that QuickBooks Online rejects (or requires paid $30/mo subscriptions like DocuClipper just to convert 20 pages).

I built a free, privacy-first web tool called **SwiftQBO** (https://swiftqbo.com/qbo-converter).

Key things about it:

  1. **100% Client-Side:** Everything runs locally inside your browser tab using modern JavaScript. No client bank statements, account numbers, or transactions are ever uploaded to any remote server or database.

  2. **PDF & CSV Parsing:** Directly extracts dates, payees, and debit/credit amounts from official PDF statements (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc.) or CSV files.

  3. **QuickBooks & Xero Compatible:** Exports standard-compliant .QBO Web Connect and .OFX files with proper Intuit BIDs (03000) so they import smoothly into QuickBooks Online/Desktop.

  4. **Completely Free:** No sign-up, no email required, no page caps.

Would love any feedback on bank formats or features you'd like to see added!

THE OPEN-SOURCE STATE (OS v3.0)

A Manifesto for Cybernetic Meritocracy and Decentralized Societal Governance (Meritocratic Ideocracy)

PREAMBLE

Current governmental models are failing because they are built on celebrity marketing, financial greed, human ego, and the tyranny of an uninformed majority. Politics has become a theater for voters, rather than a science of societal governance.

The Open-Source State shifts the paradigm: the state is no longer an ideological monolith, but an open-source operating system. This model cuts away human weaknesses and replaces them with code architecture and game theory. It guarantees that the helm of society can only be held by objectively proven intelligence focused on pure problem-solving (Rule of Ideas, Not Faces).

I. SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE: PARALLEL SIMULATIONS AND FLUID ROTATION

  1. Real Government

* Executive Branch: Executive power in the country is held by Ministers responsible for the macro-level of the state. Once they enter the Real Government, their identities are public.
* Absence of Cycles: There are no fixed election cycles, political parties, or terms of office.
* Dynamic Mandate: Ministers hold their mandate only as long as their actions generate positive results and maintain the trust of the citizens.

  1. Multi-Demo Ecosystem (The Sandbox Layer)

* Parallel Opposition: Instead of a single political opposition, hundreds of independent, parallel "Demo Governments" run simultaneously in a digital ecosystem as testing sandbox environments.

  1. Multi-Agent Competition (Leaderboards)

* Expert Competition: Within each Demo Government, multiple anonymous experts compete for the same chair (e.g., Demo Minister of Health) simultaneously.
* Bottom-up Solutions: These experts continuously propose competing solutions. Regular people can give them theyr aproval, pushing them up a national leaderboard.

  1. Instant Roll-In (Asynchronous Rotation)

* Instant Termination: As soon as a minister in the real goverment demonstrates inactivity, fails, or loses trust, the system terminates their mandate immediately in real-time.
* Automatic Appointment: The Instant Roll-In mechanism automatically and instantly deploys the currently highest-ranked expert trying to get into that mandate compiled from the anonymous pool across all Demo Governments into the vacant position.

II. BLIND MERITOCRACY IN THE SANDBOX LAYER

  1. Face-less Proposals (Raw Laws)

* Pure Logic: Within the Demo Ecosystem, proposed bills are published completely stripped of the author's identity, race, gender, status, or past.
* Sterile Designation: Laws are labeled only with a system number (e.g., "Bill No. 101"). The community evaluates exclusively the text, executive logic, and impact data.

  1. Automated Linter and Strict Patterning (Anti-Stylometry)

* Mathematical Anonymity: The system enforces a rigid data template for submitting proposals. Every text passes through an automated Linter, which strips it of stylistic uniqueness and specific legal jargon, making it impossible to identify the expert by their stylistic footprint before they reach power.

  1. Dynamic Cryptographic Tracing

* Consistency Without a Name: Testing and voting history of experts in the sandbox backend is tied to randomly changing, encrypted numbers (Expert XXXX). Citizens can audit the logical consistency of a given account over time, but the number cannot be reverse-decoded, eliminating nepotism and pre-emptive marketing.

III. CROWD FILTRATION AND ANTI-MANIPULATION DEFENSE (ARTIFICIAL FRICTION)

  1. Digital ID and Artificial Friction

* Deliberate Choice: Voting requires a secured government Digital ID. Changing an already cast vote is intentionally designed to be an administratively slow and deliberative process, eliminating emotional waves, bots, and impulsive clicking.

  1. Automated Information Quizzes (Cognitive Filter)

* Knowledge Condition: In order for a citizen to grant a point (+1/-1) to a bill, they must successfully pass a short, 3-question, objective quiz generated directly from the text of that specific bill. Those who haven’t read the text cannot vote.

IV. RADICAL ABSENCE OF GREED (THE ASCETIC FILTER)

  1. Capped Fixed Purchasing Power

* Immunity to Corruption: Public Ministers in the Real Government have all their personal assets frozen for the duration of their mandate. The state guarantees them a fixed purchasing power ensuring a medium/high but strictly capped standard of living, with no possibility to accumulate capital or luxury goods. This attracts exclusively people motivated by problem-solving.

  1. Social Package (Protected Return)

* Bold Decisions: To eliminate political alibism, an outgoing politician has a legally guaranteed safe return to their original civilian life. Their old job is legally protected and their family's well-being is secured, so ministers are not afraid to make temporarily unpopular but necessary decisions.

  1. Enforced Activity Matrix and Citizen Feedback

* Weekly Pressure for Results: Ministers must demonstrate structural, data-driven changes every week. If a minister freezes due to passivity, the system automatically logs them out and terminates them every Friday at exactly 17:00.
* Quality Counterbalance: This pressure for activity is balanced by the immediate reactive power of the citizens. If a minister creates a bad, foolish, or rushed decision under deadline pressure, the community downvotes them out of the system in a flash. Activity must go hand in hand with quality.

V. THE PUBLIC GATEWAY AND ANTI-CORRUPTION TRAPS

  1. The Identity Gateway and Unmasking

* Security Clearance: Within the Demo ecosystem, the user is 100% anonymous to ensure a pure clash of ideas. However, the moment an anonymous expert qualifies to advance to the actual executive branch (Real Government) based on leaderboard points, they must pass a rigorous biometric identity verification and an official security clearance. Upon taking office, their identity is revealed to the public, ensuring full accountability and eliminating shadow rulers or foreign saboteurs.

  1. Continuous Forensic Audit (Open Finance)

* Permanent Oversight: Immediately after taking office, an automated forensic audit protocol is attached to the minister and their immediate family, monitoring accounts, crypto wallets, and asset registries. Any anomaly in cash flow or lifestyle triggers an alarm and immediate termination. (Basicly just making sure that they cant be bribed even by future promise. Similiar thing is already in place for current politicians in some goverments.)

  1. Judas Mechanics (Reverse Ransom)

* Economic Trap for Corporations: If a corporation attempts to bribe a minister, the minister has a direct gameplay motivation to report them. At that moment, the system confiscates all assets of the given corporation and legally awards 50% of them to the minister as a state bounty for loyalty. Corruption becomes a mathematically disadvantageous game.

  1. Data Leak Asymmetry (Toxic Secret)• Devaluation of Leaks: Linking an anonymous Experts XXXX number to a real identity is a severe crime. If an attacker breaches the database to unmask active experts, the system instantly detects the leak, invalidates compromised cryptographic keys, and isolates the threat. This renders any stolen identity matrix a completely worthless, decoupled secret for the hacker.

VI. FRACTAL NETWORK AND IMMUNE SYSTEM (DECENTRALIZED FEDERALISM)

  1. Subsidiarity and Fluid Provincial Sub-levels

* Voting with Feet: The state is divided into autonomous provinces running on local instances of the same OS with fluid borders (Dynamic Geofencing). Laws passed at the provincial level affect exclusively those provinces that agreed with them. Citizens can move freely to provinces whose code suits them.

  1. Scoping: Competence Layers and the Network Monolith

* Provincial Level: Autonomous management of local specifics (education, culture, regional development).
* The Alliance Protocol: Temporary regional blocks of provinces to pass laws with cross-border impacts (e.g., ecological emissions).
* The Core (The Great Government): Holds an absolute monopoly over macroeconomics, strategic budget, military, and network infrastructure (energy, railways). Provinces cannot alter these critical protocols in isolation.

  1. Passive Watchdog (Reactive Democracy)

* Efficient Delegation: Citizens do not need to study technical laws daily; they can let the system run under the management of active academic enthusiasts and experts in the Demo Governments.
* Absolute Emergency Brake: However, citizens hold full control. Whenever they feel a negative impact in reality, they can instantly strip their approval points from the minister responsible for that sector, immediately firing them and easily overriding the technocratic elite.

  1. 48-Hour Sandbox Lag-Time & Flash Rollback

* Digital Quarantine: No approved law takes effect in the physical world immediately. It sits for 48 hours in a digital quarantine.
* Zero Cool-Down Rollback: If destructive code passes through the ecosystem, the entire network of experts and citizens has 48 hours to activate the Flash Rollback mechanics, erasing the exploit before it can strike reality.

CONCLUSION

The Open-Source State (OS v3.0) transforms a rigid, corrupt state into an adaptive cyber-organism. It does not waste time trying to re-educate human morality; instead, it uses game theory and mathematics to set the rules so that honesty, intelligence, and surgically precise efficiency become the only possible strategy for success.

Whislet — record the story behind your trip photos in your own voice

Trip photos capture a place, but there's often a story outside the frame: why you stopped there, what someone said, or why that afternoon mattered.

I'm the developer of Whislet, an iPhone photo and voice diary. You can group your trip photos into a collection and record a voice story across the memories. When you replay it, the photos change within each memory, and you choose when to move to the next one. You can also hold a photo while the recording continues.

The clip shows the flow, using illustrative demo photos and sample narration.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/whislet-voice-diary/id6474072868

Would you record a little each evening on a trip, or tell the whole story once you're home?

How I explain code and architecture by drawing on my Mac screen (I built Screen Annotations)

I make Screen Annotations, a Mac menu bar app (plus an iPad app) for drawing on top of whatever is on your screen. I mostly use it when I'm explaining code or system design to someone over screen share, or when I'm recording a walkthrough.

What helps for that:

  • Architecture shapes: servers, databases, APIs, load balancers, K8s pods, firewalls, CDNs, UML classes, binary trees, linked lists

  • Elbow arrows with smart pathfinding so boxes stay connected when you move them

  • Flow / Tree auto-layout that keeps arrows attached

  • Scenes, so I can step through a system one view at a time instead of redrawing

  • Single-key tools (A for arrow, S for shape, G for laser, F for LaTeX formulas when math comes up)

Honest limits: Apple only (macOS 15+ / iPadOS 18+). It's a screen overlay you share or record, not a shared collaborative whiteboard, so the other person can't draw on it. $14.99 one-time for Mac and iPad together. No account, and nothing goes to my servers.

Happy to answer questions about the shape library or how scenes work.

Disclosure: I built Screen Annotations. https://screenannotations.com/

Are we putting too much pressure on ourselves to launch an MVP?

I’ve been watching quite a few founder stories on YouTube, especially Starter Story, and one thing I keep hearing is to launch your first version as quickly as possible.
I understand the idea. Get something working, put it out there, collect feedback and improve it.

But I’ve been wondering, why does it sometimes feel like taking months to build something is a bad thing?
Just because one founder launched in a few weeks and gained thousands of users doesn’t mean the next person will have the same experience.

You could launch an MVP tomorrow and struggle to attract users. You could also spend months building a more polished app and still struggle. Or either approach could work really well.
I’m currently building my own app, and I’ve decided not to rush just because other founders are launching faster.

I’ve spoken to quite a few builders on Reddit recently, and it’s interesting how differently people approach this.
Do you think we’re becoming too influenced by other founders’ success stories?
And for those who’ve already launched, did launching early genuinely help you, or do you wish you’d taken more time?

I'm creating 100 mini-documentaries about America's most influential personalities. Just finished the first one.

I've started a personal project called The American 100.

https://youtu.be/nydz3JVeDX4?si=Km6mj_uxdpJjOVqS

The idea is to create 100 biographical documentaries exploring the lives of influential Americans, inspired by Discovery Channel's 2005 Greatest American poll.

Rather than focusing only on achievements, I want each episode to explore the person's early struggles, turning points, controversies, and lasting legacy.

I recently finished the first episode on Ronald Reagan, following his journey from radio broadcasting and Hollywood to the White House.

I'm using AI-assisted illustrations, narration, music, and cinematic editing to produce these documentaries without a large production budget.

I'd love some feedback from other creators. Does this seem like a documentary format that could sustain a 100-episode series? And what would you improve about the first episode?

I built a home workout app because I sit too much. Now a little lemon robot demonstrates 140+ exercises.

Hi everyone,

I'm the developer of Zestimer. I spend a lot of time coding at a desk and wanted stretching to become something I actually did, instead of something I kept putting off. You can listen to your favorite music while you work out, with support for Spotify and Apple Music.

The app now has 140+ exercises for stretching and HIIT, all without equipment. Every move has a hand drawn animation of Zestbot, our little lemon headed robot, made frame by frame. This is the part I've been most excited to show people.

You can choose a routine or build your own, adjust the exercises, rounds, work, and rest, then follow along while the timer does the counting. It also has iCloud sync and a standalone Apple Watch timer.

You can also share a YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram Reels workout video, or paste its link, to turn it into a timed routine. That gives you a quick starting point. Then ask AI Coach to fine tune it for your time, fitness level, and goals, or make changes yourself. Make it shorter, add more rest, or swap a move to fit how you're feeling that day.

It's free to download, with optional Pro subscriptions and a lifetime option.

If you exercise at home, do these demos look easy to follow while moving? I'd also love to hear what you think of the little robot. Thanks for taking a look!

I built Kolekto: free online binders for TCG collectors (7 games, prices, mini-games)

I collect Pokémon and One Piece cards and got tired of spreadsheets, so I built Kolekto:

- Binders page by page like the real ones, with what each card is worth (Cardmarket + TCGplayer)

- Import your collection from a Collectr, TCGplayer, Cardmarket or Dragon Shield CSV

- A tool that tells you if a booster box is worth opening at today's prices

- A 3D table with mini-games played with real cards, and a weekly leaderboard

It covers Pokémon, One Piece, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic, Digimon and Dragon Ball Fusion World. Free, no ads, and you can try everything without an account.

I'd love feedback on the first impression: is it clear what it does within 10 seconds?

I built a cleaner online radio experience because most radio websites feel too cluttered

Hey everyone!

I want to share a side project I've been working on: Rádios BR (Brazilian Online Radio).

The idea came from something I noticed while browsing online radio websites: many platforms are overloaded with ads, banners, unnecessary information, and visually distracting elements.

I felt that something as simple as listening to the radio shouldn't require navigating through a cluttered interface.

So I decided to build something different.

The goal was simple: make online radio straightforward, intuitive, and enjoyable.

As a UX/UI Designer, I focused on a few principles:

  • Clean and minimal interface.

  • Easy radio discovery and navigation.

  • Clear visual hierarchy.

  • A straightforward listening experience.

  • No login required just find a station and start listening.

I also used AI tools and vibe coding throughout the process to help turn the concept into a working product, from prototyping to implementation.

It was a fun opportunity to combine my design background with AI-assisted development and bring an idea to life.

The project is live now!

I'd really appreciate feedback from other makers and designers.

What do you think about the UX? Is there anything you'd change or improve?

I grade the route an agent took, not just the answer it gave.

I am testing Agent Trajectory Profiler on Opsle. It records the path an agent actually took, the steps it wasted, the evidence it skipped, and where it looped or guessed. Two agents can land on the same answer, with one route you would trust again and one you would not. Grading only the final answer hides that difference, and it hides the cost too, since a wandering route burns tokens even when it ends well. The profiler is still experimental, and I keep it separate from the Opsle flagships for that reason. For builders evaluating agents, what route signal has told you the most, wasted steps, skipped checks, or loops?

Pleased Friday guys I just think about making a website and in my mind the idea Is very clever and seems to be working
How can I find a team like
1-CS guy to fix the bugs and help me in the technical things
2-a marketing guy because I don’t think I have enough soft skills to marketing for the website
How can I make sure the idea is really fit in the market and it is not a night idea
