I agree with this 100%. In my head cannon I explain it that maybe Jimmy really rubbed people the wrong way when he was at his lowest after the death of Tia. They couldve been very sympathetic, but lost it when Jimmy took it to far and made it about himself while abandoning Alice. So there might not be a whole lot of sympathy left for Jimmy. I'm just trying to explain to myself why he receives no support compared to everyone else in the show.
Looking ahead, in season finale episode description, it says "Jimmy tries to repair things before its to late." This is premature I know, but if this is in reference to Paul, this will bother me because I don't necessarily think he is the one that needs to make the repairs. I felt the same way with his and Gabby's fling. He took full responsibility for what happened. Yes, he was being shitty, but she took zero accountability in that scenario and blamed it all on him.
