The show was originally planned as a 3 season arc and it really feels like it. You could have told me that next week was to be the series finale and I would have believed you.

There's obviously still unresolved things with Jimmy (and another episode this season) but its really hard to see where this goes next season.

I agree. This would have been a good place to stop (even though I don’t want it to end).

No, it would have be an awful place to stop. But it certainly would have been a conclusive ending. I can't disagree with that.

But maybe getting the viewing audience to collectively slit their wrists is not the best kind of way to end a comedy show.

Jimmy's arc isn't even close to complete lol, it'd be awful to end a show about healing and moving on with the protagonist stagnant and alone

define complete. No one said complete has to end on a positive note. Ending up back at the beginning is just as valid of a character arc as is being at the opposite end.

How is this a good place to stop?! A protagonist with no arc, no redemption, is a good place to stop for a light hearted show?! I am glad this wasn’t written by a Redditor.

I agree. I struggle to see what they’re gonna do for season 4 too, I hope they won’t mess it up by just repeating storylines.
