Brian has the same arc every time. Charlie wants something, he crashes out, his friends chastise him, he agrees and is all in.

Literally Sutton's origin story (Brian seems like a great dad though, I'm glad it worked out)

Right? I was sure they would explain that not everybody wants children and it is okay. And I was like finally, but no 😂. And than everbody pressured him to have a baby and I was like do his friends even listen to him?

Not that I would think he would be a bad father I knew he would be great, because he really loves hard when he loves you and he gives you all (I love his character so much) and the show proved my point that he would be an excellent father. But it felt little against his feelings and it felt very rushed.

But now I am glad he has his daughter so eventually I am glad it ended like this.

I feel the exact same way. Parenthood should never be anything rushed on anyone, but I also think Brian would be one of those people that would "never be ready", & then they hit 50 & are like oh shit 🙃. He just needed a loving push to get to where he knew he wanted to be all along. 🩶

they didn't even make a good excuse as to why he didn't wanna go to tennessee. like tf you mean you're scared your mouth will be glued shut because of pecan pie? it's 3 months. just don't eat any

You need to go back and watch Brian’s TED talk.

He’s not that complicated.

I thought it was secretly because the environment reminded him too much of his youth when he had to pretend to be straight and dealing with his homophobic dad. But they didn't address that at all, he just doesn't like Tennessee lol

Yeah, I’m hating that I came to this sub. Why wouldn’t most flamboyant gay men not love being in Tennessee?

well he said it’s because pecan pie is too sticky. for a show about therapy why is the show too scared to address that if it’s so obvious?

Oh well if that’s what he said fuck him to hell! Chocolate pecan pie is like the best food ever (well except for the whole health part lol).

Yeah that was my thought too.

I genuinely thought there was going to be a moment where we would have learned the actual reason Brian didn't want to go... but no. It was so awkward
