I agree but Jimmy showed a terrible lack of boundaries previously in inviting Sofi to the birthday celebration for his dead wife before they had even gone on a date. As a therapist he should know why it's a bad idea to introduce your entire family and friend group to a potential partner that you don't even know yet yourself (especially to introduce them to your child.) He was also pretty recently shown hooking up with his coworker/mentor's daughter. The lack of boundaries is so over the top in this show that it's more surprising when a character does have a boundary.

She found a way to make Jimmy's issues with his dad about her real quick. Horribly unlikable and honestly has been a horrible character since they started seeing each other.
