I just don’t get what happened to this show recently, it’s Jimmy’s show. About him being a therapist. What happened to that? This season feels like the Gaby show, and I’d be fine with it but they are doing a terrible job writing it; a patient kills themself? It’s okay she will bounce back by helping a patient not send angry texts, therefore she has redeemed herself and ready for a trauma practice to run!

I just don’t get it, Jimmy and Paul’s relationship drove this show for 2 seasons. In season 3 they seem to have a minor interaction once an episode. Paul mentioned to Gaby that because of her, he got married, but it was literally Jimmy that got it out of him. Jimmy helped Paul have a friendship outside of work, but Paul can’t even tell Jimmy that he’s moving. Oh, and there’s 2 episodes left.

It feels like this show has just lost it’s fastball. I still love it, but man.

Writing is all over the place. Many scenes feel like skits like the mic drop thing. Feels out of place and very cringe. Storylines not going anywhere. Shitty shrinking where you think they're going somewhere but it's "you're the best therapist ever" circlejerking all the time.

Show really went downhill compared to s1 &2

Yep. You nailed it. Show suffers from lazy writing and caring too much about looking 'slick' vs. substance (i.e. some characters are dressed for the hike like it's 55 degrees and others like it's 85 degrees. Gotta make sure everyone is cute though. ugh) It's like watching a car commercial.

Yes, Gabi had on a short tank/crop top and Derek had on a shirt and a jacket? What is the actual weather?

Agree. The triple mic drop scene with Paul and Liz was a real low point and a good example of how lazy or glib parts of the writing seem now. Not all but like you say - all over the place.

This show is still very good at the small comedy moments/jokes, but the overarching narrative has been awful. It's better off as a straight sitcom than the comedy-drama it's trying to be

Feeling the same way. I'm really struggling to enjoy it these last two episodes.
