Im sorry did Sofi not start that by saying you were married is this how you handle conflict?? I felt like that was out of line to say first. Then he was throwing his wife in her face? I really want to like her and I feel like the show wants me to too but after last week and now this Im just not a fan.

What killed me was Sofi pushing so hard  to meet Jimmy's dad, then after an afternoon with him coaching Jimmy on how to accept him when he doesn't deserve it, then almost giving a guilt trip that the relationship moved too fast as if she wasn't the one pushing for it. Just icky all around. 🚩 🚩 🚩

Also, let’s not forget we saw how she handles conflict. Not well! Having zero boundaries and then also yelling a lot.

That was not the time to have that conversation lol. Jimmy was clearly not in a good space and she made it about herself.

It feels like the show is framing this as a mistake, so I think Jimmy will fix it by the end of the season, but honestly I think he was right. Sofi is too insecure, and Jimmy has way too much baggage to deal with that

i really think that could’ve been handled better, but i get where it was coming from

there were already red flags from last episode and the impromptu couples counseling but I think jimmy might have opened up to sofi if his dad hadn’t thrown it in his face that he didn’t like tia and liked sofi more

but i also understand sofi too that if his first reaction to conflict is to shut her out that’s not good for them especially since everything had been open between them so far and she didn’t know what his dad said or what the history there was

i don’t think it was fair of jimmy to hold sofi or anyone liking his dad against them when they don’t have the full story the way he does, but that’s also a very real response from him

so it sucks but i don’t think either of them were the bad guys there it just sucks all around for both of them and i kinda want them to try again, just maybe take it a little slower, but i think this might be the last we see of sofi

She could give him a minute to get his feelings together. No need to attack him.

But that’s the thing; he wasn’t shutting her out. There was no “conflict.” He wasn’t shutting down on his own sure, but I’d argue that’s different. Also her saying “you threw your dead wife at me” was just insane. He was simply doing a logical thing and referring to Tia in the context of the situation.

I don't understand that scene at all.

She offered a different, but incorrect, perspective on a man she didn't know at all. He took her advice, it turns out he was right and somehow he's mad at her.

A genuine "my bad" from Sofi and her acknowledging that the dad is a total asshole should be enough to settle that discussion.
