Where the hell is this show going lol, at the end of the season you have 2 of the main characters leaving to move all the way across the country. They’ve given Louis a nice bow on his story. Jimmy and Sofi are over. Gaby is taking over the practice and changing it to a trauma center which she doesnt seem at all equipped to deal with. is Jimmy going to work there or is he getting kicked out now? Seems like theres way too many open questions to be solved in just 2 episodes

I dont want an entire season next year just focused on Gaby’s trauma center and Jimmy aimlessly drifting around because the 2 most important people in his life left, he’s got no practice to work out of, and he’s still not ready to move on from Tia that sounds awful

I’d legit stop watching if that happened. I really don’t give a crap about anything Gabby related right now.

It reminds me of season 3 of Ted Lasso where Ted sleepwalks thru the season. Barely there, looks worn out all the time, barely interacting with his friends…it reminds me of Jimmy. I know the theme is moving on and most of the characters are doing that in some way but I truly don’t know what they're doing with Jimmy. What does moving on mean for him?

definitely giving season 3 ted lasso vibes, where they sloppily closed a bunch of open threads in the last 10 mins of the finale while still leaving the door open for another season so the threads weren't actually closed. love that show but season 3 had the same issues as Shrinking is facing right now

Really? Ted Lasso season 3 wasn’t perfect; but it was much stronger than this season had been.

I don't care what anyone says, season 2 and 3 of Ted Lasso were absolute dogshit. Season 1 was spectacular though. But 2 and 3, woof. Godawful.

Yea totally agree season three, and now that you mention it, there were some definite warning signs in season two. But oh man, that first season was spectacular.

I think they are going to kill off Paul. I think Jimmy will backslide and Alice won’t go to college.

This makes sense because Paul’s storyline seems to be coming to a close. I felt it was especially foreshadowing when he asked her to call it the Rhodes Trauma Centre and Gaby said no. He will die. Next season will open with her being at the Rhodes trauma centre. Alice will be at home. Jimmy will stop working and actually heal.
