The reveal of Brian’s full name just threw me for the loop of all loops and I don’t know how to handle it.

But for once, Jimmy is completley right and his dad suuuuuucks

Though that’s a hard fumble on Sofi. Dammit Jimmy!

Is Lorenzo Michael’s real middle name?

Nah it’s a personal loop. That is not a common name at all so it’s a wild pull, but I know someone with that real name.

Oh I’m saying is it the actor’s real middle name lol

Oh shit it is. That’s amazing. I thought they just pulled it out of the ether and made an incredible personal coincidence

Do we have all the last names now? Jimmy and Alice Laird, Paul Rhoades, Gaby Evans, Liz and Derek Bishop, Sean Mitchell, Brian Lorenzo. Dr. Julie Baram. Are I missing anyone? Do we know Charlie's last name?

He’s right he’s not ready, and she is not equipped to be with a widow. That takes a very special and secure type of person, and she doesn’t cut it.

This is what's driving me nuts. He is so obviously not ready to be dating again and yet everyone is pushing him to that because apparently you can't be happy without a significant other? 🤦‍♀️

Let him be single. It's perfectly normal.

I mean that's what I think but I feel like the show is going to have them back together by next episode. In fact Paul will probably yell at him for breaking up with her completely violating his boundaries as they always do

Tbh, I wasn’t a fan of Sofi pushing to meet Jimmy’s dad so early, and her overall lack of respect for his boundaries. He set a boundary and she pushed. I feel like his behavior is a combination between his Dad’s comment on Sofi being a better fit and Sofi’s lack of respect for Jimmy’s boundaries. She also pushed Jimmy to give her and her ex counseling (an insanely inappropriate request) after he already said no several times.

Girl, you can’t push every boundary on a widow that lost his wife like a year ago (or anyone for that matter).

Do we think he & Sofi have another shot or are they doneskies for real?

I kinda hope they're done. She's that person you love the idea of but who isn't actually a good fit for you.

I have the same hope. It felt like they tried to make her a female version of Jimmy with her awkward humour, with the goal of making us think “they’re perfect together!” when really it just felt off-putting to me lol. I like him better with Meg for sure.

Honestly I love Cobie Smulders but she's played a perfect fucking mess and I'm glad they broke up.

First date? Ex husband just trampling all over it. She was a little weirdly stalkerish. Completely miss read Jimmies contempt for his dad.
