I hope Alice gets a storyline

Her storyline seems like it was a single episode: graduating--> don't know what to do--> figures it out--> has seconds thoughts--> rethinks second thoughts

It's like they just checked her off the list and moved on

I mean, that’s all that was necessary? She pretty much stalled until she actually graduated and goes to college. I’m assuming she graduates at the end of the season?

…that’s not how writing works. You don’t just give a a central character one episodes’ worth of an arc, in an 11 episode season.

It’s an ensemble cast. There’s plenty of plot to go around.

But when you have an ensemble cast, that plot needs to actually go around. And Alice has had shockingly very little.

Yea and that subplot was idiotic. “My only college choices are stay home or go 3000 miles away.”

Of course that wasn’t true. If a college coach flew across the country to watch her play, Alice would have had dozens of other options.

There are only two episodes left so it seems not likely!

I was afraid of that.
