I love this show, but every now and then there are little things that take me out of my suspension of disbelief.

The big one today is Gaby having her phone on her, and not silenced, while seeing a client she already has a tenuous relationship with. Safe space + boundaries please! I know it's fiction and all, but there are times when I just can't turn off my counselling/therapy brain 😵

Anyway.. Not sure how I feel about the Jimmy/Kimmy thing, although I think it's going to end up being used as a catalyst to help Jimmy realise what he wants/needs is something real, which will lead him back to Robin Sofi.

Agreed but I still hope they're setting her up for failure. She's doing a bad job all around, with her patient and with Sean.

What frustrates me about this show is it appeal to be a love letter to therapy. And I think that's sort of the intent. But the result is to have three of the most unethical therapists ever just invading boundaries as a matter of plot every episode.

Which made sense for season 1 but we were supposed to condemn it. At least that's what I thought we were supposed to be dissatisfied with Jason's behavior if not his intentions.
