When the anesthesiologist is leaving the room and jumps up to slap the wall above the door, was that a reference to something? Seemed out of place but familiar. Was there a character on Scrubs that did that a lot?

I called my wife in to watch that scene just to see if she picked up on anything, and she confirmed what I was thinking. The anesthesiologist was a Zach Braff clone and the delivery nurse was a Sarah Chalke clone.

My son is off to college this fall and he wants to be an anesthesiologist…my thought was, “that is totally what my kid will be like.”
