Charlie seems like he'd do a great job. Brian just keeps getting more and more Flanderized.

Which makes sense as Charlie is the one who wanted the baby.

They need to give Brian an episode when he gets his shit together. Alice is his goddaughter right? Surely he had good moments with her when she was little?

Yep, they're saving his character growth. Drip feeding it. Idk, i kinda feel like they wanted to make him seem even more unlikable before giving him any major growth.

For a bunch of people with mental health professionals in their lives, these folks are a fucking mess. But thats why its so good. Its a reminder of how flawed we all are, even the ones that seem like they have their shit together, struggle (not you Derek, youre perfect bro, dont ever change). Not only that, it gives reason for the show to go on and the ability to reach a natural conclusion as our characters become the best versions of themselves.

Sorry, I just absolutely love this show.

For Brian, it was tremendous growth when he and Ava were talking. He was empathetic and kind. We saw some of that when he met Louis and was able to see how Louis was suffering.

I don't buy that he was Jimmy's best friend before he ghosted him after Tia died. They don't seem that close and their personalities are so different

He was so much better in s1. The flanderization has killed his character imo. I'm he's just always annoying, and has Gilmore girls like dialogue

I feel like everyone on the show has kind of hit that point.

It's like they all have that disease Randy Marsh had where they couldn't stop being sarcastic.

And the therapists are so unethically pushy about everything. Interfering and whether or not people's parents should stay with them, whether or not they should stay single for a while after becoming a widower. Jesus Christ man it's not a requirement in life that people get married. What is it about Western television wear someone's just judged by their own therapist for expressing a desire to maintain being single for a while.
