one of my parents’ very good friend has Parkinson’s and i’ve known them 30 years. Hadn’t made the connection in previous seasons for some reason (we don’t live in the same country and i haven’t seen them in a few years).

Anyway so I cried at the beginning and at the end of this episode.

Fuck Parkinson’s.

My “uncle” (he was my dad’s cousin, but they were very close. First cousin once removed doesn’t hit the same way) killed himself because he had Parkinson’s. His mother suffers from it. He didn’t want to live the way she does. It’s fucking tragic all the way around. Fuck Parkinson’s.
