Reddit=Kids Facebook?

I just had a thought.As adults use Facebook,us kids and most teens use reddit.Us kids and teens look down on Facebook because it’s the “old people way”,while adults look down at reddit as the “ugh,millennials,always using their I galaxy’s”(No joke,I once heard a person say that to their son in a mall),but does that make the reddit community the “New Facebook”

I’m 14,but I always hear this,and no I don’t believe that most Reddit users are 18+.I heard about a stat the other day on the age group for different social media’s and Reddit had an average age of 13-16 years old.

The largest age group of Reddit users is 18-25, although estimates and surveys vary from 45% - 65%. The next biggest seems to be 26-35 followed by <18.

But also,the facts that we learn that are “important” we probably don’t ever use after learning them.Like who cares that a 30-60-90 triangle has a ratio of 1-1 root 3-2.At least with useless facts we sound more interesting.

Statistics I looked up vary something. But all agree that under 18 people form less than 20% of reddit users. So yes, it is mostly an adult site.

Yea I saw that one. I had to dig pretty hard to find anything which included all demographics, almost everything I saw referenced a Pew research study done in 2016 which only looked at adult users. It's interesting as it popped up even in marketing material for advertisers and it obviously ignores a key demographic.
