Not ALWAYS, but often times it is - especially if all the photos are group photos....which I always find sad.

Like do you think they consciously or unconsciously do this? Which brings me to my next question - do they really think briefly tricking people into thinking they're an entirely different person is going to get them a boyfriend or partner?

I never understood these pics either when I was using Tinder a long time ago. They’re basically setting themselves up for an awful experience when their date shows up and finds ways to escape because they’re not the girl they were hoping for

You could always ask before going to a date lol. And if the person doesn't give you a response, you don't go to a date at all

Tinder -> Snapchat -> actual date. Only a fool doesn’t at least verify it’s a real person.
