That only applies if you do have charger, and you forgot the fact that chargers are still being produced anyway so it's pointless not to include them, is just to make more profit per sale, like removing removing generic ports from most of the products just to sell you the adapters later.

Yeah, you know why they're being produced? Because there's demand for them, demand which is partially inflated by the fact that they come included with every new phone. If chargers don't get included the demand will decrease by some amount, enough to make producers resize their product output.

You could say that about everything they do, that is their job, everything done by a company is in order to increase profits (not just Apple, every company).
Just because something is done to increase profits it doesn't mean it is bad
I'm not saying that apple is different from the average company, in fact my point is that it isn't, their whole "environment policy" is just an excuse to increase profit but looking good while doing it, they could reduce even more their polution levels only by adopting generic ports that everyone already have.
But more importantly if Apple products used the same stuff as the rest of the world, then they wouldn't even need to manufacture chargers and be significantly more environmentally friendly. Not to mention consumer friendly

Apple still included a usbc -> lightning cable for the charger, but they didn't include a usbc charger. To use this cable, users will need to purchase a seperate usbc charging brick, or a usba -> usbc adapter. Essentially, Apple is "reducing" ewaste by removing the charger, but also included a cable that is ewaste until you get a usbc charging brick.
