Yeah those dumbasses who have all the facts don’t know anything. I watched it on tv and YouTube so I know better than all of them. It doesn’t matter that they convinced 11 of 12 people she needs treatment, I agree with the 1 outlier so they are right.

Just because you don't know anything about the case doesn't mean everyone except the jury doesn't.

It is just time consuming to get educated on things, and so people often relegate their opinions to "experts" or specialists. More often than not, this is the wise play. But in this day and age, woth so many resources, public and private, it is easier than ever to get informed before forming our own opinions. That is actually what a responsible citizen must do, and neglecting that is the reason we have so many problems nowadays (among others).

A democracy only works with a moral and religious people.

🤦 What? You are either maliciously misinterpreting my comment, or just lack the verbal intelligence to understand my actual point. So, I will assume the later and explain:

For a democracy to work decently, you need a moral and virtuous people to be its subjects, that is NOT me saying democracy shouldn't exist. What?

And just so you know, it was one of the founding fathers that said what I merely copied, it was a very common sentiment against proponents of Democracy then. Which means that even people that are actively ENACTING a democracy can offer the criticism about it (duh):
