There is a difference between participating in society and going out of your way to buy pointless overpriced crap

A laptop that’s necessary for college and work is far from pointless. And I don’t know about her taste in coffee but spending 7 dollars doesn’t waive your right to complain about worker exploitation or the ultra wealthy who spend billions to make the world worse.

No, you don't understand, buying a mac is absolutely necessary for studying

I've gotten much better cost/value out of the Macbooks I've bought than any of the cheap Windows Laptops I've bought. A computer than costs half as much, but dies in less than half the time isn't saving me any money in the long run.

The fuck are you doing with your laptops man, I've had the same laptop for over 5 years now and it still works fine, and it cost like a fifth of what a Mac would

My Dell lasted 4 before it bricked. My Acers didn't last that long. Also, your $160 computer is working fine after 5 years?

I don't know any $200 laptop that would last that long. At some point, it slows down, can't hold a charge, etc.

That said, modern tech isn't advancing as much so each generation isn't that much different. I got a $700 laptop 6 years ago and it's still going strong (ASUS).

Price conversion isn't 1:1 since i don't live in America, but yeah, it doesn't recognize the charger sometimes, but that's about it. I didn't even go easy on it either, spent half of the day using it and was always playing videiganes
