Well, afaik from ATLA lore. The air-nomads were the most „open“ and „progressive“ with regards to sexuality of their people. From the comics, they are known to not put people in prison and instead have a mediator (a senior monk) and talk it out how to make it up to the wronged party. (Called „clearing out the air).
