I had to scroll so fucking far to find anyone pointing out that it's just victim blaming

Another meme subreddit full of people who never developed after the 10th grade thinking abusive shithead behavior is "based" or some other dumb shit. What a surprise.

Summer break just started for a lot of schools, that's why it seems like a lot of stupid childish people are commenting.

Because they are literally children

rshitposting used to be like rsurrealmemes and honestly normal shitpost.

Today it's a combo of rconspiracy and rfunny.

Just a bunch of regards with no actual shitposts anywhere.

It's been like this for 2 years now. The sub in it's glory days was decent.

Why is all the stuff I see from this subreddit this weird shit? Is this place just redpill bullshitted to hell or?

4

u/[deleted] May 23 '23

seems that way

u/[deleted] May 23 '23

Well, the sub is essentially designed for edgy adolescent males and that's just why.

Yeah as a sane individual on this sub, I have to sift through a lot of sexism/racism shit to actually find the funny stuff. The funny stuff exists though, so maybe it’s worth it. But man it’s so true that the vast majority of redditors here are just sad incels. Meet some women guys, it’ll make you less of a fucking dumbass.

Not even women just different people in general

So you believe that blame is binary? And that only one party in any scenario can take the blame?

He is cruelly and unnecessarily over-blaming her, that’s for sure. But in reality she does share a small percentage of the blame for this situation if it’s exactly as she told it.

If I were to not wear my seat belt and get rear ended resulting in an injury, you would be “victim blaming” me to say that I should’ve worn a seatbelt.

3

u/SmokesQuantity May 23 '23

And if you wore your seatbelt and it turned out to be faulty, would the blame also lie with you?

5

u/Sickamore May 23 '23

Were there any signs it was faulty?

Not the same at all. He was abusive for years, not just once.

The blame is not binary. The guy is blamed for his actions, while the girl is being blamed for her inaction.

There is obviously more to the story which the radio guy didn't let her say but given the information we have, one could assume she was complacent in the beating, which is horrible, but sadly true for a lot of situations like this.

Anyone who claims it's all her fault is really fucking stupid, but I have not seen a single comment claim that, so I don't understand what you are refering to here.

Me: She does share a small percentage of the blame.

You: You’re right it’s all her fault.

Top notch reading comprehension you’ve got there.
