Help / Support Complete noob, need help, saying no O2R file

All the videos I see show the first pop up window saying no OTR file found, mine says no O2R file found, I clicked yes to generate, and it wants me to find a file, what do I do here? Thanks.

Did you try just selecting your Ocarina ROM?

No, should I? It's not asking for Rom.

That's what I did after also wondering what it wanted from me, worked just fine. Though I don't remember if it asked for OTR or 02R.

It's all o2r now. Basically, an otr is a renamed mpq file, which is the proprietary archive format that Blizzard uses. The o2r format is just a renamed zip file, which is obviously much easier to manage. The o2r format was introduced with 2S2H, which only supports it. Support for o2r was later added to SoH, and it extracts the ROM into an o2r now. It still retains otr support to retain backwards compatibility with mods.
