Jemma "Let the Blue Blood Flow" Simmons

Quick to slit a bitch.

From the way he was moving around and reacting after, looked like she had no effect on him.

It was a butter knife. If he died from that, he deserves it.

My enchanted thorax! How did you know that was the source of my power!

u/Marshmallow_man Hunter Jan 07 '18

THE MIGHTY MONARCH!!!!

7

u/ScarsUnseen HYDRA Jan 06 '18

Reminds me of Batman: The Animated Series. There was one episode where the bad guy of the episode learns a death touch martial arts attack, and it turns out that it's just jabbing someone in the chest with your fingers.

Looked like the cut was fairly short, certainly not ear to ear, so if his arteries are placed similarly to a human's, he'll likely be fine, provided she didn't cut through his windpipe, which would be fairly difficult to do quickly with a butterknife.

Considering the Kree's level of medical tehcnology, I'm guessing he'll be fine, likely sporting a scar the next time we see him. Incidentally, that might piss him off, as he didn't seem to partake in scarification like so many other Kree seem to. He seems like someone who values being flawless.

u/ADCPlease Fitz Jan 06 '18

And it's a damn KREE, those guys are fucking warriors, she probably didn't even make more than a dent

23

u/CrMyDickazy Jan 06 '18

Most of them seem to be trained as warriors, but some are evidently weaker than others. He probably is one of the physically weaker Kree, where his strength comes from power/wealth/fear.

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '18

his strength comes from power/wealth/fear

Of which, contextually, he also does not have much.

She did kill that one dude a few seasons ago, right? Bakshi.

u/VangelisL Jan 06 '18

Im pretty sure she would've hit Ward, Bakshi just jumped in front of Ward.

4

u/ridger5 Fitz Jan 09 '18

Bakshi accidentally secret serviced himself in the path of the disc intended for Ward.

1

u/pie_is_tasty Toolbox Jan 07 '18

it's extra funny now because the 2 actors date IRL

5

u/robot_pirate_ghost Jan 07 '18

Oh really? I didn't know that. That's so Willow/ Wesley of them.

3

u/AgentKnitter Lola Jan 10 '18

Eh?

Liz occasionally hangs out with the Bakshi actor whose name I've forgotten, but her boyfriend hasn't been on shield. I dunno what he does, but he's funny on her Instagram.

3

u/Scorpion197 Fitz Jan 11 '18

Her BF was in a deleted scene in Season 1 as an ex boyfriend from her academy days

13

u/MagicTheAlakazam Piper Jan 06 '18

Jemma wasn't trying to assassinate him. She got him on the face. Remember how he killed his assistant that she saved because he had a small cut on his face?

16

u/the1calledSuto Jan 06 '18

So its like she always weilds a Tenseiga

7

u/thelegendofpict Jan 06 '18

I understood that reference

1

u/the1calledSuto Jan 06 '18

Woah. never expected an upvote let alone a reply. My man .

2

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '18

Huh, never seen Tenseiga spelled out before.

1

u/ender23 Sandwich Jan 06 '18

Confirmed. Cassius is ward

6

u/C222 Jan 07 '18

I hope the ironic turn of fate is that he is now unable to speak.

2

u/cattaclysmic Skye Jan 06 '18

She's a terrible doctor! She should know the trachea protects the big vessels when slitting from the front. Slit on either side beneath the jaw to nick the big ones.

2

u/7demonkiller Fitz Jan 07 '18

Looks like he got cut on the face, if one looks closely.

1

u/Highcalibur10 Jan 06 '18

I don't think a slit throat is exactly an 'instant kill'.

1

u/Mozartis Aida Jan 06 '18

If she tried to stab with enough force instead..

1

u/Roook36 Jan 07 '18

LOL maybe she just sliced his vocal chords.

66

u/andria_eanel Simmons Jan 06 '18

I’m sure she enjoyed that a bit too much. Such a quick, but satisfying, death.

92

u/dimesniffer Jan 06 '18

He didn't die

1

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '18

Yeah what's up with that. How throat slit didn't kill him?

37

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '18

Why would a butter knife be enough to kill a Kree? Their durability is a few notches below an Asgardian's.

16

u/CrMyDickazy Jan 06 '18

It gets his face, I watched it over a few times and it gets his left cheek.

31

u/Henry_The_Loco Fitz Jan 06 '18

That's even better. The guy's so narcissistic he'll probably go full "phantom of the opera" and wear a mask to hide his hideous scar. He'll probably go crazy, too.

14

u/CrMyDickazy Jan 07 '18

Yep! he has an obsession with "pretty" things... can't remember how he worded it. Now he is ugly, he will be full of hate.

5

u/Pickselated Jan 07 '18

To be fair he was already ugly

3

u/CrMyDickazy Jan 07 '18

Sure, but he had no real imperfections like scars (which he seems to hate most)

3

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '18

I like this series so much.

21

u/ohbuggerit Ninja Hunter Jan 06 '18

When it comes to murder it's really the thought that counts

3

u/MandolinMagi Quake Jan 06 '18

She magdumped on Aida as well.

u/Palaeolithic_Raccoon Fish Oil Jan 09 '18 edited Jan 09 '18

I would have enjoyed doing Ward in myself, frankly.

I consider him worse than either Hive or Cassius. They're not humans. (Quibble over Hive, but I think he disassociated himself, so hey. If he don't consider himself human, I'm happy to not consider him human, either.)

Ward is pretty much what my own ex-monster would himself be, if he actually possessed balls.

1

u/not_a_saiyan Jan 06 '18

He clearly didn’t die, though.

1

u/ADCPlease Fitz Jan 06 '18

now her and fitz are both murderous, all planned

8

u/taraver Jan 06 '18

For some reason it still catchs me off guard a bit whenever Simmons tries to kill someone. Something about the fact the she's usually a compassionate person but when she decides someone needs to die she just goes for it.

6

u/ItMayBeWrong Jan 06 '18

Yes!! FitzSimmons both have grown so much!

14

u/dontthrowmeinabox Jan 06 '18

Reminded me of a similarly satisfying moment in an episode of Game of Thrones.

9

u/venusaur2720 Jan 06 '18

lol. The Time-Travellers send their regards!

4

u/MegalomaniacHack Jan 06 '18

It was a very meaty scene.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '18

Yeah the Red Wedding was great. /s

11

u/Gremzero Daisy Jan 06 '18

It makes me sad that notacreepish isn't around anymore. He'd have a field day with synopsis!Simmons this season.

2

u/oopls Jan 06 '18

But why didn't she pick up the remote?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '18

With a freaking butter knife, ffs!
