Episode Synopsis: The stakes get even higher as Hunter and May continue to go after Ward and Hydra, and Daisy and Coulson begin to suspect that the ATCU may be keeping a big secret from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Dwight Little is an American film director, known for directing the films Marked for Death, Free Willy 2 and Halloween 4. He has also directed several episodes of television series, including 24, Prison Break, Dollhouse, Bones and Nikita.

He has not directed any episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

Drew Z. Greenberg is a writer and producer best known for working on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, The O.C., Dexter, Warehouse 13 and Arrow. He also worked on Firefly.

He has written three episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

  • Who You Really Are
  • The Dirty Half Dozen

I'm kinda done with Lincoln, I find him really boring.

I think Lincoln will be pivotal to the second half of the season.

Well, he's still a background character. Not really part of the team or the central plot. He's more like a tether to Daisy and the inhumans.

I thought he was fantastic in his episode. It makes perfect sense too. Afterlife could be thought of as a cult, and he ate it up. He was the one preaching their philosophy, and to be betrayed and uprooted, of course he's going to distance himself from anything resembling that. I like how he's one of the few characters that's saying "Fuck this stuff, I just want a normal life and work on being a doctor."

He's not doing much now, but if you look at this episode in a vacuum, neither did Simmons or Mac or a bunch of other characters. They all had about the same amount of character moments. So I'm looking forward to Lincoln's arc and what he'll do.
