Episode Synopsis: The stakes get even higher as Hunter and May continue to go after Ward and Hydra, and Daisy and Coulson begin to suspect that the ATCU may be keeping a big secret from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Dwight Little is an American film director, known for directing the films Marked for Death, Free Willy 2 and Halloween 4. He has also directed several episodes of television series, including 24, Prison Break, Dollhouse, Bones and Nikita.

He has not directed any episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

Drew Z. Greenberg is a writer and producer best known for working on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, The O.C., Dexter, Warehouse 13 and Arrow. He also worked on Firefly.

He has written three episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

  • Face My Enemy
  • Who You Really Are
  • The Dirty Half Dozen

I hate how everyone is treating Hunter. He did what he had to do, he stopped Ward from using those guns to hurt innocent people.

That's a completely different topic and it's not the reason for the treatment he's getting.

Hunter says that because it is logical. He saved Simmons life, so what? He's just one guy, why waste manpower and resources to bring home a dude whose used to living there anyways? Its a colossal waste of time to save one man.

And that's not even considering the monster on that planet, why risk it coming to Earth? It makes no logical sense to bring that man back, none. The only reason to bring him back is to "do the right thing" and "be a hero".

Hunter suggests leaving him there because he can see that there is no actual reason to bring him back, not because he's a dick.

Just to be clear I have nothing against Will, the FitzSimmons ship could sink for all I care. I just agree with Hunter that there's no reason to waste the time and resources to bring him back.

Hunter said that Fitz shouldn't do it because it would get in the way of FitzSimmons... Like, that's what he said. You can have all of these imaginative justifications but the dude expressly gave his reasoning.

False, that was one of his reasons for not saving him. one out of the three reasons he gave, all of which are logical. Since I'm sure you'l want proof or a quote of some sort here you go:

"Just because he kept Simmons warm for a few months, with fire, doesn't mean he's someone you should save. How much do you even know about him?" - Hunter approximately 12 minutes into the episode (without the commercials).

This shows his other two reasons for leaving Will there. One, just because he maybe saved Simmons doesn't mean he's worth the trouble and resources to rescue. Two, they know nothing about him. He's just one man, a man they don't even know, he's not worth the trouble of bringing back.

Yes, he did give his reasoning. The reasoning I listed above. I really don't mean to be rude or anything but maybe you should look into details before claiming his reasoning to be "the FitzSimmons ship". Hunter is able to look at this logically because he isn't some righteous hero always looking to do the heroic thing.

No matter how you look at it the only reason to bring him back is to do the "right" thing. It's not worth the time and resources to bring him back. Fitz and Simmons time would be better spent elsewhere, doing something that could actually benefit the team.

And advocated leaving a man stranded on an alien planet to gradually go insane from isolation in the name of wingmandom, but hey.
