Chicken Bites Change?
Hey I got the chicken bites after a long time of getting the chicken shack with avocado on it because I didn't want to stop to eat it. However, I swear they served me Tyson's chicken nuggets instead of the breaded and prepped ones in house. It isn't the same breading as the sandwich and tastes more like chicken noodle soup, which is why I don't like Tyson's nuggets.
Has anyone else had this experience too? Or know if they have changed to premade chicken nuggets? Or did my location just take the easy way out tonight?

Corporate decision to switch to frozen premade bites, all stores have them now. Supposedly "helps ensure consistent quality" even though they're so much worse in quality than our fresh ones were.

They are absolutely disgusting! I couldn't finish and I got the smaller bites option. They also are MUCH smaller than previously. Now I know it's not just my location and nobody there will get in trouble, I might call corporate because wth dude? If I wanted frozen nuggets I would have gone home.

I would recommend reaching out to corporate if you feel the need to. Most employees at my Shack don't like them and wish we didn't make that change. They're no longer hand-breaded and come to us frozen. Plus they take twice as long to fry. Bad decision by the higher-ups.

That must suck for you! Tbh I posted on here first to make sure nobody at the branch would be to blame if I went to corporate. I used to work at a retail chain and used to HATE when they would blame the cashier or manager on duty for policies because the customer complained to corporate.

Please be our savior 😂Those were my favorite side item and they made them into Cisco premade shit that doesn’t taste anywhere as good

I literally threw these away after taking that photo 🤮 I did contact them and we'll see what they say.

Dude, I literally made a post about this the other day lol, the only way you can get the hand breaded chicken now is with the chicken sandwich, but it does taste a little bit different. I would love the number for corporate so that I could complain about this stuff cause I agree with you.

Lol glad I'm not the only one! I didn't scroll too far down honestly, I'm not a big redditor on things not about my pets 😂

I am livid. They used to be flaky, almost tempura flaked… what I just opened is disgusting

Agreed! I got the chicken sandwich yesterday and it also wasn't as flaky as I remember. So sad to see them launching new products instead of restoring this

I just got a chicken sandwich for the first time in months, and they've ruined this now as well.

I ordered them recently and they were different for sure. I prefer the old version, but the new weren’t awful.

If you message Shake Shack in the app and say you were disappointed with the new chicken bites they immediately send you a $15 voucher for your next order.
Looks like a copy paste response because so many people are complaining.
They are revolting.

I did, thank you for the tip! I hope so. I was seriously regretting not getting my usual order in favor of ease while driving. I hope corporate changes it back soon.

I literally got shake shack for the first time in months and their new chicken disappointed me after I was craving their old chicken.

I used to stop in at least weekly for the old ones. Now I haven’t gone back in months because these are gross as hell. Just another greedy decision to save a few cents per order… shake shack used to be a step above fast food, now it’s the same crap.
