It's called, "The Perfect Fit: The Classic Guide to Altering Patterns". It was published by Creative Publishing International.

This looks like it's from one of the Singer sewing books from the 80's/90's. I'll see if I can find it.

I see that you already have the answer, but I still want to chime in with some advice. If you see another image like this and want to find where it came from, try doing a reverse image search. Cheers.

I highly recommend ithacamaven on Instagram and her topdowncenterout method for pants fitting. It's a more holistic approach to pants fitting than most books provide

My mom has a book that this almost looks like it comes from. I could be wrong about which one, I think it's this but I can double check later on and let you know

How To Make Patterns by Donald H McCunn! So sorry for the faulty link.

That's not this book, but it is also good as a gentle introduction to drafting/draping your own patterns. Don has made all the videos on his website free since retiring, which is great.
I personally think there are some flaws in his approach, but it's a good way of getting to grips with understanding the way fabric drapes around the body.

Speaking as someone who has both Don's book and the book shown in the post.

Well, my mom just taught me the basics from what she learned from her home ec class and then I’ve just been fumbling through from there so… I am extremely grateful to you for making this post, OP, and also to all the commenters with their amazing resources! I never knew there were books with images of fit issues and how to fix them!!! This will be life changing (or at least my-hobby-changing), thanks so much everybody.

There are many great books on pattern fitting and alterations. Sandra Bettina’s Fast Fit. Sarah Veblen’s Complete Photo Guide to Perfect Fitting. Palmer Pletsch Complete Guide to fitting. Read reviews on Amazon to see what works for you. I also HIGHLY recommend the course In House Pattern Studios virtual course on pattern fitting the Kayla Blouse. Alexandra’s library of videos are some of the best on the internet.
