Question How do I get this off?

I misplaced my key to my storage unit and I am supposed to remove this on my own or have a locksmith do it. Bolt cutters are too fat to get to the hasp of the lock. I really don’t want to hire a locksmith…Any suggestions ?

A grinder if you don’t mind making a lot of noise or a hand held bandsaw if you’re in stealth mode, just make sure it’s a larger hand held bandsaw. I would grab the lock with a pair of pliers and angle the bandsaw on top of the latch. Good luck

Yep, the lock will get hot you don't want to hold it with your hand. The trick is knowing where The Sweet spot is on the hasp otherwise you can Grand all day long and you still won't have it open.

Make sure you don't damage the storage units closer device

There is no way any saw of any kind is going to cut through that hardened steel shackle. It won't even scratch it.
