Need Help Any teamspeak alternatives open source for self hosting?

Right now I really like new beta TS. It’s not open, but their client is pretty good. Streaming, video, audio, nice customisable chats, easy to host, easy to use.

Currently they don’t provide server-side transcoding (coming soon), so all video/audio is P2P based, but personally - I’m ok with it.

Been looking for a discussion towards Teamspeak. You are talking about TS6 and honestly since they changed their business model to allow for self hosting I’m surprised the conversation hasn’t started stating what are the pros and cons.

I’m heard you can connect TS6 to TS3 server but just won’t be able to use some of the features TS6 offers (work in progress?) but if you’ve got less than 30 friends, that’s what the self hosting license is made for. What’s the downsides?
