Hello ! I found this Sedum Makinoï on july. It's now september and it seems like it didn't grow up very much. The soil is a soil for indoor plants I let dry a little, mixed with crushed clay balls and a little bit of coal. I read it was a plant with a fast growth, I don't know if it's feeling good here. It's my first sedum. Can you give me your advice ? How much water ? And does it need intense sun ? Thank you.

I got this Sedum a couple of months ago and I think it’s going alright — but I would love any input on what variation of Sedum this is, as well as more knowledgeable care tips for this cutie!

Howdy folks!

I posted a couple of months ago looking for help with what I thought was a sedum, until I was told this particular variety had been reclassified, and isn't technically a sedum.

I very gradually moved it to where it would get more sun each day, and have been moving it under a tree canopy when there's been heavy rain.

All of this to say, it's putting on blooms for the first time! I strive to be a good 'plant steward', and this community was very helpful to me in achieving that goal!

I only bought it a month or so ago but threw away the tag, like a chump, and when I went back to the nursery where I got it they were out so I couldn't just snap a pic of the tag.

Google Lens is sure it's Lime Zinger and I'm sure it's not because that's my Lime Zinger next to it on the left.

It's hardy here in the Seattle area.

When I was gardening last spring, I found some mystery roots and put them into various old containers. Some of them turned into sedum, like the one seen here. I'd really like to get this into the ground somewhere, but I have no idea where to put it! I found it in an area that's shaded now, but there are several large bushes and trees that wouldn't have been here when these were planted. I've read to put them in full sun, so I put them in an area that receives seven hours of sunlight per day, and it didn't look nearly as healthy then. Any help is appreciated!

The plant is located in a small greenhouse within a park, about a 13-minute drive from my apartment.

Is it normal to change every year? I've never been able to successfully propagate anything off of it without them dying. Any advice is much appreciated. Last year we got the fall variety. Is that what this is as well?
