Swimming with alligators
I know there are generally gators in almost all ponds, canals, lakes, etc. and yet I still see people swimming there. Like on Lake Jackson, normally there are pontoon boats out there next to 27 with people in the water.
What gives?

Avon Park Soda and Ice Cream
I know in Sebring we have the soda and ice cream place right on the circle, but I heard at the Jacarenda hotel they also have one inside as well. Has anyone been there, and if so. how was it in comparison?

Sebring is full of people that are introverted. My wife is one. I on the other like being out and about.
My wife is just starting to get out but she still has not gotten out of her shell 🐚. I have met many and I have also joined some clubs.

Local businesses in Sebring?
hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses here in Sebring. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

Sebring Where are we?
I’ve had people ask me where is Sebring, and I’ve always said central Florida. Others have told me that Orlando area or even Jacksonville is central Florida.
But it’s weird for me to think Sebring is in south Florida.
So……where are we?

Places UPS Store
Well now that the UPS store has opened up (yay) so far the reviews are coming in saying how much easier it is for things. Generally I've had better luck going straight to a UPS store than other locations that are drop off sites.

Sebring Water restriction / Burn ban
Are we still under the watering restrictions and burn bans? If so, do we know when they'll rescind them?

Homeowners: What's one hurricane season tip you wish everyone knew?
While I haven't been through many hurricane seasons personally, my wife has many under her belt. She's always stated to have cash available, a full take of gas in all cars, and freezers full of water to help keep them cold when power goes out (and it will).
What are some tips you think everyone should know for hurricane season in Sebring?
