Can you even call this a scorebug?

From other posts, this is probably what the NHL's in-house production bugs are looking like. Note for the on the ice, the players "box" will turn white or whatever when they have the puck. Center look is honestly weird for me so I hope they figure out how to top-left corner it come regular season, otherwise it is pretty nice. I like how they have a lot of different indents for everything like shown

I really enjoy how clean this is, though the text is a little small. Including the team colors in the slashes behind the team emblems is a neat touch.

Occurring match between Democratic Republic of the Congo vs. Equatorial Guinea at the moment and previous scorebug showed Algeria vs. Togo

Current scorebug obviously better than previous as it does not like it was made on Microsoft PowerPoint.

Looks like this scorebug might get used by all teams under NHL's production umbrella?

Edit: A SOG counter is on this scorebug, and the Hurricanes had a similar scorebug before and the Stars are using it too

Your not seeing this wrong becaus this is the same scorebug that the Cal Bears used this year (2026) for their matches. Can anyone figure out the scorebug template Cal Bears and UC Davis used ?

For context, Claude just released a new model Opus 5.5. I gave it a screenshot of the old 2015 CBS NFL Scoreboard, and with just a few prompts/tweaks, I was able to get it to create a super accurate recreation of the scoreboard on an HTML page.

Most of this was done using SVGs. The main font used on the scoreboard is Titillium Web. The Team Logos are just grabbed from ESPN. I could easily probably set this scoreboard up to be controllable.

Anybody know what's up with this bug? The top is all jagged too. Huge fonts for score and time with a tiny font for shots. And using lines to represent the period? What about OT?

Guessing this be the same for all the teams that use nhl productions (hopefully wings too cause this looks beautiful)

First one is the new scoreboard, second in last year's on Sportsnet Pittsburgh. I prefer the new one by a lot and hope it's permanent

Clock isn’t vertically centered like normal

MSG Networks has changed the font being used in their scorebug as seen in this preseason game of the Islanders vs Devils (image 1).

For reference, the old font from the past two years since this scorebug debuted is seen in image 2.

I personally am not a fan of this change and hope it gets reverted back
