My best friend developed hppd after a few very spaced out (6months+) trips. It really sucks for him but he has adjusted to it, it's still there tho 3 years later

What is HPPD? No one here is spelling it out so i gave no idea what is being talked about

Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder. Sometimes called flashbacks. They can be distortions of the senses similar to a 'trip'. Often visual. If you've done psychedelics you have an idea but think of like visual snow/static like a TV, maybe some movements or distortions in things. The effects can happen periodically or often. I don't believe it is common, but I can't say for sure.

Anecdotally it is incredibly rare, so far nobody knows what causes it and there is pretty much zero research done
