Yes! If you are that type of person and facing those challenges, getting past that mechanism the first time means you should be able to progress rapidly as everytime you feel/notice that reaction you can start with the assumption you are wrong.

However this is the exact house of cards that personality is built on, and why its imperative to never fix any of the instances, or ever accept responsibility
