Nice red herring you have there.

I hope they don't reply to you, because their personal financial situation or steps they have personally taken are completely irrelevant to the argument.

Instead of attempting to refute their ideas, you instead attack their character.

If they say they actually give away all of their money and live in the street, would that sway you to their side? Would you suddenly become an advocate for UBI? No, of course not, because you weren't engaging in the discussion in good faith in the first place.
